Sad............ all of you should be ashamed...........
Brainerd is no worse or better than anyone else. I was at center ice and saw this as well. It was a hard hit. Unfortunatley there is more to the story than what people are describing. 1. The kid who applied the check is 6"3, and is frequently called, especially when other kids who are shorter, ...

The only addition they need to add is the Section Standings. They have everything else. It would just be nice to see the Section line ups with the results. People do like to see this. Thanks

Warrior Pride
The Warriors of Brainerd will be proud to represent section 8AA. When we started this year we were very young......... We were not very disciplined and we had a couple of losses that were learning experiences. I cannot predict what will happen, but I know if we continue to play like we did against B...

The Home town is, where they were born. As for recruiting. We have not done this with any of our current kids. They have all come up in the system here at Brainerd with one exception. Aaron Rich. His family came to Brainerd a couple of years ago, as his Dad is a Heart Surgeon and the Hospital here w...

Well it’s like this. Brainerd Warrior Hockey is on the map. The day will come that we will go to state and we will make a show. We have put together some great kids over these past few years. I would like to share the list of ones I know firsthand. If I have missed any well, I apologize ahead of tim...

UNO got a steal of a deal when they took the Brainerd High School kid. I used to love to watch this fiery kid play for the Warriors. There were alot of teams who did not like to play us then because of his spirit. The kid has hockey in his blood. A true freshman he is the smallest kid on the team a...

Brainerd D-1's
I think some of you are mistaken. Brainerd has produced a number of D1 kids unfortunately just not mulitples at the same time. Carl Sneep - went to Boston College and won a Ntl Champ his Sr year there. Drew Olson is playing for UMD Bull Dogs right now. Yes Chris Peluso JP Platisha went to UNO Ryan P...

Section 8AA Round #1 1st period was all Brainerd, we controlled the puck and the game for the 1st period. Josh Archibald kicked it off with a pass from Mitch McLain as he put it past Al Patten of the Tigers. Later in the period with the Tigers on a power play Josh Archibald stole a puck went up the ...

Now for the story, all of you already know. Josh Archibald broke another record for the Warrior Hockey team. He now has the Single Season Points Crown. He also has the Single Season Assists Crown. :!: The single Season goals crown is with in reach of Mitch McLain as a Junior no less. He has 3 ...

When is a Hockey game a Dirty one?
Well, I had to ask the question. First off I must say that I think that we in this country have become soft and wanting things to be the easier softer way and or just plain convenient. So now you know where I come from. If you want it you have to work hard for it. After the game the other night and ...

The game
Well I have stayed quiet long enough. I first and foremost want to tip my hat to Little Falls for a great game and to their win. They were the better team that night. Now to the others in this forum, I sat center ice above the penalty box area. I had a great view of the game. I saw an aggressive phy...

SOG
Yes you are correct, however, one must judge if the puck is on goal, ie wide of the net, right or left or over the net. This requires judgement, when one is sitting 25 feet up off of the ice and is at center ice as well. I hae had parents think I should credit the kid a SOG whenever the goalie glove...

I do the Hockey Hub Input for our team, I have done it since its inception. It is accurate, as with any computer program, it is only as accurate as the person putting the data into it. I have noticed that yes some teams always have 2 assists, not the case with us. We put in what happened, If a kid q...

Kiwanis reffing
Yes I agree, many missed calls and calls that were made were either a non call or the wrong call. Really very poor, not sure why and yes I agree it was not against any one team or another. It was the whole series.
