Let it go man...spend some of this time and energy on a hobby. Rankings aren't everything; just ask Kansas!!!

I just want to know who your team is so I know who is to blame for all your whining and complaining.

The51 you are an idiot! Out of your "top 10" Jefferson, Eden Prairie, Wayzata, Centennial, and Burnsville couldn't win sections 2, 4, 5, 6, or 7 either. You're just jealous that your team didn't make state or mad that clutch goaltending actually matters in playoff hockey. If you don't like...

I expect Apple Valley, Eagan, and Burnsville to battle it out for the conference title the next few years with Lakeville South and Jefferson trying to be spoilers. Should be a very competitive conference that will have a chance to send 3 teams to state.

Relax HHF...I'm pretty sure he was stating what people were saying about AV's chances in sections and how they would discredit the wins even if they came out of their section.

The51...we already found out who is the best out of Minnetonka, Wayzata, and Eden Prairie...it's called the section tournament.

Just because your team didn't make it to state doesn't mean the system needs to be changed!!!

Sounds like sour grapes Lakeviewing. You're just mad because your team probably did well in their conference and then couldn't get it done when the games actually counted. Let me guess, you want to get rid of the section tournaments altogether and just have the conference champions go to state. Inst...

You're blaming the ranking system for AHA not being able to make it to the section final? Why doesn't AHA just beat Edina for once? That seems like the easiest way to resolve your issue. Until the Missota becomes its own section AHA is going to have to actually beat a good team if they want to make ...

I'm just glad we don't have to hear about how good HHF thinks Eagan is anymore. I hope he got a lot of enjoyment out of that higher ranking he argued for all year. Eagan is a good, young team but until they learn how to play with a little more class and some discipline they're going to keep shooting...

I'm glad someone who can be objective and impartial is putting together these rankings. I've seen both teams play and if you really think Eagan is better than Jefferson you are either an Eagan parent or fan. There's a difference between being better overall and playing better on that particular nigh...

I think five posts in the same thread is good enough. We get it, you think Eagan should be rated. This is an opinion forum so you're more than welcome to start your own top 15-20 rankings (with Eagan above Jefferson of course). Karl - my old team isn't in your top 15 either, but I still enjoy readin...

This seems like very shortsighted planning by both Minnesota Hockey and whoever is in charge of the tournament in TRF. How long have they known they would be hosting the tournament? It's not like they found out two weeks ago that they would be hosting the Bantam A tournament and would need to have e...

To reply to your questions HShockeywatcher: 1. It depends on the player. D3 teams like St. Norbert, UW-Superior, and UW-River Falls have each had a few guys who transferred from D1 schools, some for the playing time others for the school. 2. Several D3 players move on to play pro hockey each season....

The music videos back when the tournament was on Ch. 4 were the best! When I was little we would skip school and watch the tournament games on TV...we would record all the music videos and goals and still have those VHS tapes. It definitely would be interesting to see some of the music videos teams ...

If Apple Valley shows up to play this should be a great game...however, if they don't show up it could get ugly! Anyone who's watched them play a lot this year knows what I'm talking about. They need to take space away from Eastview's top line, stay out of the box, and take the body. Eastview has be...

At that age level kids should work mostly on their skating, one thing I've noticed lately is their are a lot of Bantam/HS age kids who can stickhandle and shoot very well, but are very sloppy and slow skaters. If a kid is hoping to further his development he should work on his skating more than anyt...

Depending on how their first year players step up Minnetonka should have a pretty good team next year. Besides them I would look for Eden Prairie, Edina, Burnsville, and Apple Valley to be solid in District 6.

I agree with you 100% Mainefan. So many people think playing in the USHL is the "golden ticket" to getting into a DI school and then moving onto the pros. The USHL will prepare kids for playing college hockey, but it is not always going to be DI; some kids move on to play DIII or minor pro...
