The51 you are an idiot! Out of your "top 10" Jefferson, Eden Prairie, Wayzata, Centennial, and Burnsville couldn't win sections 2, 4, 5, 6, or 7 either. You're just jealous that your team didn't make state or mad that clutch goaltending actually matters in playoff hockey. If you don't like...

I expect Apple Valley, Eagan, and Burnsville to battle it out for the conference title the next few years with Lakeville South and Jefferson trying to be spoilers. Should be a very competitive conference that will have a chance to send 3 teams to state.

FYI, Mr. Hockey didn't have any points in the tournament.

I'm just glad we don't have to hear about how good HHF thinks Eagan is anymore. I hope he got a lot of enjoyment out of that higher ranking he argued for all year. At that age level kids should work mostly on their skating, one thing I've noticed lately is their are a lot of Bantam/HS age kids who can stickhandle and shoot very well, but are very sloppy and slow skaters. Depending on how their first year players step up Minnetonka should have a pretty good team next year. Besides them I would look for Eden Prairie, Edina, Burnsville, and Apple Valley to be solid in District 6.

I agree...I would say Eden Prairie will advance along with the Burnsville/Edina winner; those teams are very evenly matched and it should be a great regionals!

I agree with you 100% Mainefan. So many people think playing in the USHL is the "golden ticket" to getting into a DI school and then moving onto the pros. The USHL will prepare kids for playing college hockey, but it is not always going to be DI; some kids move on to play DIII or minor pro...

Agreed...best of luck to all the District 6 teams at regions. It's just too bad only two teams move on, otherwise District 6 could have 3 teams at State!
