Orono will win 4-1.

You kinda sound like a Johnny Reb with all your north vs. south talk.

Just like the civil war, the south will not rise again in this game.

Just on a note about my last post...Smothers is a good goalie...no doubt about it...but being a Senior...and a Captain...he needs to step it up if he wants to win games...he can step it up in big games...ive seen him do it...goalies can either pump the team up with huge saves...or bring the team do...

Hopefully Tonka will come out of the gates faster than they did against EP; they were not running on all cylinders last night.

Tonka @ Edina 1-27-07

Big game at Braemar today at 7:00, Edina coming off of two games in two nights, this will be their third in three nights, with a win over Cloquet last night, Minnetonka coming off of a 6-0 win over Robbinsdale-Armstrong on thursday. Who do you like?

to be fair, the third goal was with orono's last line on the ice apparently, and the other two were on the power play. i wasn't there, i only heard from a reliable source. i'd be proud to play in front of Peterson any day; i have seen him stand on his head too many times for anyone to change my mind.

Todd Weisjahn was the best coach orono had in a while, until he left for armstrong/robbinsdale. I'd have to disagree with this statement and say that Kevin Armstrong was a better coach than Weis was. Weis also inherited a state tournament team from Mr. Armstrong. Weis then won coach of the year his...

Colinschroder - Tonka07 What is your obsession with Brad Ryan? From an outsiders perspective he has done a hell of a job, bringing last years team to state and having a team this year that has been in the top 10 for the better part of the year. Maybe you should get a job coaching if it is that easy...

Re: mmmmmmmmm

Mr. Ryan has won far more games and had his team in far more games than they should have been in the past two seasons. He know's the players he has, so he plays a super defensive minded system. They stack 5 players in front of the net, who on their own probably block 10+ shots a game. I do not beli...
