There shouldnt even be a ms. hockey goalie. the women cant shoot the puck off the ground or even get it moving 20 mph. I could stop there shots without pads! well not to talk about irondale anymore, but their D Amy Udvig took a slap shot and fractured a girls foot so she couldnt walk or play for aw...

This is as much an Ashley Nixon fan club as it is an Irondale fan club. In case I'm not being direct enough, that's for you "lovetopuck". I think this forum should be for the positive flow of information and the advancement of girls hockey. It should not be an arena of competition....

bill mericio- irondale im not sure how you spell his last name, but he is also the girls varsity soccer coach and i know for a fact because of that a lot of his hockey players decided to play for him in both sports because he was such a good coach (including their star D amy udvig). i also know bill...

With Irondale's record being so much better than any of their other seasons and in watching some of their games, I would have to think that the two junior captains; Rachel Gates-Vickery (defense) and Nicole Olson (Forward) should be considered. Both these players have played varsity since 8th grade...

Hmmm. Sounds like a nerve has been struck here, and the “Red Knight Defense League” has leapt into action. To repeat: any astute observer of girls hockey the past decade knows that the behavior and “attitude” shown at the Irondale game follows a predictable pattern for this school. Bad-mouthing, in...

I have watched EP a couple of times this year and last year and they don't really play 3 lines, just 2 for the most part. Which is surprising to me because their 3rd line, especially this year, looks pretty good. But if the first line is the one that is scoring, guess you have to play them  I...

it was bound to happen sometime. it might actully be a good thing that it happened now before their game against coon rapids.MNHockeyFan wrote:Looks like the Knights took it on the chin tonight against Totino Grace. After their big tie against BSM, and all the crowing about it here, maybe a letdown was predictable.

Any team bonding of any kind is a great thing! Wish we would see more of this, it makes a huge difference! Unfortunately, a lot of teams tend to seperate the Varsity from the JV, completely seperate practice times, and even take a seperate bus to the same sight. the seperation is unfortante indeed,...

theres no sense in argung about this considering its long over. but by any means it was a good game for both schools. Agreed, what's done is done. Going into this game I knew it would be very competitive, and it certainly was. Both teams had excellent chances to win, both in regulation and in overt...

If BSM was without Riley I would say the jury is still out on just how real Irondale is. Losing Riley is analagous to Irondale playing without Udvig. Certainly Irondale is better than most thought, the only real test remaining on their schedule is Coon Rapids, if Irondale beats them, I think you wi...
