Re: Leddy
Nick is a good kid with a great future as he continues to develop his game. Time will tell if he made the right decision but, in my opinion, playing in the AHL with a few games with Chicago will speed up his development vs. playing for the Gophers. I suggest that we lock up this post as it is a High...

From what I saw in the Tribune today, it appeared that Mr. Taft was being introduced to the seat of his pants by an EP player .......... ouch! Nice hit by Leddy. Taft will learn that you don't try to dangle Leddy without getting nailed. Had to be there to see it but Taft never went down and kept hi...

I was at the game and both fans were typical STUPID high school kids. Edina fans start singing the national athem one vers in front of the poor girl that was trying to sing then the b'ville fans joined in. She was very devistated, left crying. I think both teams have great fan support, but they nee...

Im not Dave Meyer im a pro scout who watched Dave play at model camp and loved his skills. Im thinkin about drafting him strictly on his empty net goal scoring abilities. With your team up one or two goals and the opposing teams net empty, theres no other player that i'd want out there more than di...

Just because a recruit was offered a scholarship at a respective school doesn't mean the amount of the scholarship was matched by the other school. The recruit will then take what he feels is the better offer (larger amount of money). It could very well be that in this situation he was offered as m...

Surprisingly, Jordan Lovick did not make top 102 last year, but he did make top 51 this year in 16's. Hockey is rarely predictable. Lovick is a very good player but I didn't see him on the Advanced 16's roster posted on MN Hockey. Maybe he was an alternate and was asked to participate when a player...

I know section 6 beat section 8 in the final. Oliver from Roseau looked good for 8 and two Edina kids and this Chaska kid looked good for 6 I talked to somebody who saw the game who claims that both coaches were trying to match up the Oliver and Budish lines. They both centered, correct? Can anybod...

Small detail: It is Denver University, not the University of Denver. Before you say it doesn't matter...think about this... University of Minnesota or Minnesota University... A smaller detail although it matters little but DU is now known as the University of Denver, go figure. Everyone knows it as...

Name the 91 AAA teams that are still in existence. Blades - No Icemen - No Rockets - No Predators - No There may be some showcase teams but these are usually made up of friends that skate in the summer to have fun and enjoy the game. If there are 91 AAA teams out there that are looking for players t...

From what I've read the following teams are heading to Alexandria for the Bantam A State Tournament. Bemidji Roseau Centenial Duluth East Eden Prairie Wayzata Rochester or Highland/Central Lakeville South or White Bear Lake EP - Size, talent and goaltending and, on paper, should win. But, as we all ...

Re: whatever
I don't make mistakes. I read the rule book before making comments! I believe I've seen you ref, some good games, some bad but being a ref is not easy and it's a lot easier to see the calls from the cheap seats in the stands. A good friend is a Ref in D6. Have watched him Ref for the past 6 years a...

Re: sportsmanship once again
i i expect this sort of spotsmanship down south but not up north. Interesting statement but where you live, north, south, east or west, has nothing to do with class or behaving as an adult and role model for our children. Sportsmanship and acting appropriately at all times, in sports and in life, i...
