I have paid for his ticket when he gets a ride out to watch the Elks or Anoka. Just make sure you give him some gum before you talk with him. Wes is a high school legend.

Eden Praire Squirt A Tourney Results

EP 2-0 over STMA great game, shots were close, the EP goalie was the difference. STMA had a goal disallowed that was blown dead too early. Both teams were very well coached. STMA was stopped on a couple breakaways. I see both teams advancing to the championship on the left and right side of the brac...

District 10 ranked all the teams by standings for the playoffs last weekend, so it can't be a MN hockey thing. I talked to a Dist 5 parent this morning. They do not have a league playoff. The regular season is just about done with the current standings. 1. STMA (12-0) 2. Sartell 2 losses Hutch and S...

Squirt A District Champions List

I was wondering who are the top teams in each of the districts for Squirts this year? I know some have playoffs and others just league games. Please post for the districts you know. It would be fun to follow them teams next year at the PeeWee level and see how they change.

Elk River has a 96 Squirt playing on the A PW team also. Deremko (sp), I think he is one of their top scorers.

According to the Eden Praire website, the Wisconsin Fire 97 are in that tournament. It is in 2 weeks. There also is a team from Green Bay in the tournament. Someone said they could'nt play in Minn. tournaments. It looks to be a solid tournament with EP, Fire, GB, STMA, and maybe Rochester.

Mn Hockey season is over once the last State tournament youth game is played. Your local teams can scrimmage and do tournaments up to that point. If you didn't have alot of wins and missed playoffs, look for a tournament those weekends. The good teams will not be there, or go across the border to th...

Lets face it, you can win alot of games with one or two super studs at the squirt level. Sartell and Buffalo use that logic to get their top kid out every other shift. When a team has a full roster they get caught by not being able to match lines then. It is Squirt hockey, let as many kids play, dev...

RangeHockey, this rule would never be considered, thanks for getting the board all excited. This would eliminate conference hockey and turn it into section hockey. Example is section 7, Anoka, Andover, and Elk River would not have enough games outside of their conference and you would eliminate alot...

Sorry hockeydad, too many people are looking to get their kids name on the board. Looking at the website, Buffalo lost to both Sartell and STMA. Looking at rosters. Sartell and Buffalo have a very short bench. 12 and 11 skaters only. My hat goes off to STMA for carrying a full roster at the Squirt l...

Hockey dad is a Mound parent who wants someone to mention their kid. If you want talent at the Squirt Level in District 5 go watch Sartell and STMA. Both teams are have a good future.

Can someone from the IR area explain to me why Greenway was up in Brainerd at the Squirt C tournament. They were to play STMA for the championship. Prior posts said they played at the B level. How can you change levels? Greenway fans, who won the final? How was the STMA team? Thanks.

Anoka beat East this year AT Duluth. Anoka will be the 3rd seed. Rogers will be 9th and play either Osseo or Champlin. Then they can play Blaine. I hope Jensen and Scat can play the whole game.

Last timeis looked Elk River's A Bantams were ranked #7 in LPH. The B team was in the top 10 and A PeeWee and A Squirts are very good. Looks like the homegrown are ready to step up. Brody left the Rebels because he didn't want to be captain of a classless program.

C.P. Rebel fans spit on the ref. tonight, causing the bench minor. Real class? Funny how the Rebel coaches yelled at the ref. all night and Sars didn't say a word.
