I am just trying to look at a bunch of kids leaving Ep from a different view point; maybe Smith isn't a great coach. How long has he been there and what has Ep done since he has been there? I am just playing devils advocate here and am saying that there is always three sides to a story. I don't thin...

The Blaze's offense was hot, the Eagles offense is the defense

Eden Prairie will win, 4-2, it will get physical and very heated. I doubt either teams have much respect for eachother.

The Hornets out played the Eagles. To me it didn't seem like Eps coaches were playing to win. They had their back up goalie in and played their fourth line a lot. Doesn't seem like the time to get kids some playing time. It clearly made a difference in the game.

EV goalie let up a lot of huge rebounds and the refs a few quick whistles that saved possible goals but both goalies had around thrity shots, EP's fowards had many missed oppurtunites due to their sicks being at their waist. Coaching might have played a part

Congratulations to all of these girls. I hope Lambert and Stoa's chances don't diminish because of last night's loss. Both are excellent players and have had great seasons and high school careers. Teammate Feste also had an excellent year for EP as did all of EP's players. Feste has to be an early f...

Wayzata must feel like a team of destiny after overtime wins over Hopkins and Eden Prairie. They endured what I feel was the toughest finishing schedule in girls hockey, and knocked off a team that was probably overdue to lose in EP. They are tight-knit and embracing the role of the underdog. Howev...

Not at all surprising. BSM is playing well, despite the officiating they were able to get it done. The officiating was questionable in both games tonight. Good luck, BSM. I'm biased (green) but I thought that BSM played well with the "help" of some of the officiating. At least it wasn't a...

Re: Ms Goalie

Come on Westberg?? How many shots does she face playing for Holy Angels. I pick Brashun for Irondale. I have seen her play 3 or 4 times this year and she is excellent! Liz Westberg definitely deserves more serious attention. Yes, she plays for a great team but she also leads the state (or very clos...

I hope the goalie from Kennedy stays there. She reminds me of a great goalie who played for a perennial cellar-dweller in the Lake Conference. She also faced 40+ shots per game. She was the show for this team. Then she was persuaded to transfer to a powerhouse in a neighboring conference to "g...
