Good on the PP Couple of questions I'm walking away with after scanning the first team. If a Sr is Olympic hungry, what's the most favorable gap of time to graduate in relation to the upcoming games? Em Erickson from GRG received the award. Her Team mindset and Passion for the game I reckon is what earned her the award. Beyond the individual, I've never seen such a hardworking team in any sport that comes close to GRG's lightning 07/07. Talent and Grit, almost makes you want to throw traditional...

EP - 3
GRG - 2

5 mins left in 2nd period

stoppage of play while Heather Horgen is attended to on ice. Took a nasty check and headfirst into boards. She is skating off the ice and play to restart soon as she is heading to the loacker room.

I find girls hockey interesting because of the finesse factor. Seemingly the girls game is meant to encourage honed athleticism vs unbridled enthusiasm. Short of the occasional hook/trip to stop the lone break, there's no decent reason for justifying penalty minutes in my book. Those who rack up the...

When you are tasting nothing but victory - it's easy to get fat, dumb, and happy.

Sounds like PHM showed up to play, was the entire GRG squad sedate and/or was the tender having an off night?

Good point...you can play hard, straight and clean at the same time. On the other hand, some girls just like the contact and playing rough with other girls. It's the world we live in. "Don't let anyone tell you that you have to be a certain way. Be unique. Be what you feel" -- Melissa Ethe...

Re: GRG

And then in O.T., one of the Burnsville players comes down, makes a great move to get all the way in, totally dekes the goalie - but somehow misses the open net. Very unfortunate for them - that missed opportunity changed the complexion of the whole tournament. Like Partagas said, in OT it's usuall...

Boblee are you implying #10 doesn't have heart? From the games I witnessed, Emily is usually working hard and smart. If you are on a fault finding mission, you can find them in any player, even Gretzsky. So you might not even listen to reason...but here it is anyway! As far as a 2-way player, she is...
