Hockey Scout: People expect a coach to be a leader... a mentor and to put the players best intersts 1st. I don't think that can happen in a program where Sager is more concerned about getting more outside talent the working with his White Bear players. Taking Cenntenial rejects...Taking a senior kid...

If kids do leave it is because they don't get any better staying at White Bear and playing for Sager. He does not work the kids hard enough or teach the kids enough to get them to the next level. Grun is a perfect example of a kid that did not get any better his senior year and now has to make up th...

Great game to be at!! Bears just ran out of gas by the 3rd period. I think the Bears showed a lot of people this year that they could come back after losing most of their top scorers. Collette played great game keeping the Bears in the game. The Bears have nothing to hang their heads about... they g...

Just a few FACTS: Owen was at White Bear from pee wees through bantams. When he went to Hill it was his freshman year... he was playing bantams for White Bear. He NEVER tried out or played for Hill Murray!!! He went there because his parents wanted him to give the school a try. He was not happy ther...

I was very sad to hear this about Sager. I was really hoping it was just a rumor when I first heard about it. Hansen has been at White Bear playing with these same kids for years...Why should he not be able to come back and skate with his friends for a couple of days? It is just so sad when a coach ...

so how come owen collete never catches any flak for transfering from HM to WBL? isnt he just as bad as people who go public to private? Everyone knew that he was going to go to the HM for his freshman year and transfer back his sophomore because it's what his mom wanted him to do. Owen chose to go ...

Collette never played hockey for the Pioneers... he really never spent much time at HM at all. He was there for a few months his freshman year... did not like it and left for White Bear.

Wolter did not play. The Pioneer Press once again does a stellar job on the box score. It said that Heins played. He is the JV goalie. Collette played the first 2 periods, and Abrahmson finished up in the 3rd.

I don't really think that that this will affect the team as much as some would think. They team played Duluth East with out the three... and won the game. This years team will have to work harder and work as team. It is just sad when kids make bad decisions like this.

What do Hansen and Hartzell have to do with this??? Give it a rest already !! So what if they got into trouble 2+ years ago. They are both doing VERY well for themselves now.

Owen Collette played the whole game. Last year Sager played all the goalies...but when Faust was there he played all the games. Time will tell what his rotation will be. My hats off to Owen... he has had a great recovery from his surgery and I think he will just keep getting better as the season goe...

Have not heard anything about any other new tranfers... but Collette will be back and the team will have enough talent to keep up with everyone in the conference. Ryan Wolter will be a great addition to the team.

Owen Collette

heybuddy: you have obviously never played against Owen Collette before... he is one of the top goalies and he will have a lot to show now that he is back from his hip injury. I have played with him for many years in WBL and he is a great goalie.
