"Wow, what happened to MW? Were players hurt or sick? Did anybody go to the game? The last time they met it was 8-2 for MW according to MGHCA. I guess that's why you play the game."

Century went in to the AA tournamnet with 5 losses and didn't get seeded. Blaine did with 6 losses, HM did with 4 even though Century played a tougher schedule. West is from south of the cities, they're a public school, they won't get seeded. It may not be fair but that's life. Their best hope is t...

Alex also played solid TEAM defense, covering Breck players near net and keeping them to the outside. Guess it's not how many shots you take, but what you do with them :)

3A - 1 time
4A - 3 times
5A - 2 times
6A - 3 times
7A - 3 times
8A - NONE!

Seen and heard far worse at hockey games than booing. I can't, in good conscience, cheer for a private school. Alex reminds me a little of Cloquet a few years ago, getting outshot but with a little more offensive firepower. They take advantage of their opportunities as they did on the pp today. Go C...

Looking at both teams and checking out their common opponents, this just has the feel of a 1 goal game, like 2-1. Let see here ... ahhh ... the coin came up heads, so I'll go with Roseau!

The other part being: Why would you quit playing hockey just because you know you have it in the bag? This is sections, buddy... you can't get any better practice time than with teams you know you can beat. I have also seen with blowouts that sometimes bad habits can surface, coming back to bit you...

That '83 team was fun to watch. Thought it was funny to see Terry's team take on his brother's in the playoffs. Talk about coaches in two different hockey worlds.

[quote="falcons89"]You really need to look at the box scores on the MGHCA.com website to see the true picture. And yes, Mankato's top scorers were still playing and running up scores on bad teams. Late in those games their top scorer was still scoring with 6 goals for the game. A matchup b...
