Alex also played solid TEAM defense, covering Breck players near net and keeping them to the outside. Guess it's not how many shots you take, but what you do with them

Did some checking on the sections that have gone 2 and bagel from 2000 to 2007 at the tourney:

1A - 1 time
2A - 3 times
3A - 1 time
4A - 3 times
5A - 2 times
6A - 3 times
7A - 3 times
8A - NONE!

Seen and heard far worse at hockey games than booing. I can't, in good conscience, cheer for a private school. Looking at both teams and checking out their common opponents, this just has the feel of a 1 goal game, like 2-1. Let see here ... ahhh ... the coin came up heads, so I'll go with Roseau!

The other part being: Why would you quit playing hockey just because you know you have it in the bag? This is sections, buddy... you can't get any better practice time than with teams you know you can beat. I have also seen with blowouts that sometimes bad habits can surface, coming back to bit you...

That '83 team was fun to watch. Thought it was funny to see Terry's team take on his brother's in the playoffs. Talk about coaches in two different hockey worlds.
