I am sure that AHA will start dominating again, once their conference schedule gets going. I mean they have all their tough games behind them so I guess its on to the weak conference games like usual. Start racking up the points and the wins, what a joke. Let us know when the team you support beats...

I'm pretty sure taxpayers would rather have their money funding the actual education of students as opposed to paying absorbent travel costs to play hockey games across the country. I know for a fact none of the parents were obligated to pay anything extra at the high shool level. And I know for a ...

Lee is a junior and Hendrickson shouldn't win it, because Tyler Barnes is a better player and he brings Hendrickson's game to another level just by being on the ice with him. Think again, Hendrickson brings Barnes play to another level. Barnes should be packing Hendrickson in his truck before he he...

Why don't more top teams do this? It's a great experience. I'm pretty sure taxpayers would rather have their money funding the actual education of students as opposed to paying absorbent travel costs to play hockey games across the country. Perhaps private schools such as AHA, H-M, and STA can spen...

He is looking at some schools out east, but nothing in the WCHA right now. A reliable source sez that with a 3.70 grade point and 28 ACT he is on his ...

If this league is the answer to kids not leaving for juniors, then I would suggest that efforts be made to fix the obvious shortcomings

oldguy, I know what you were saying, but i could not miss the chance for a dig at HA. So do you think that with so few high end players on a high school team that it breeds the I'll do it myself attitude? Or simply the selects mentality of skating from end to end to get noticed? By both definition ...

You are correct about the loss to Holy Angels, but when it counted, Shattuck won the national title and didn't lose to a team they should have beaten. Ahhhhhhhh - an interesting position.... But you missed the point....so I will make it a bit clearer...... The point is: When a team, PLAYS LIKE A TE...

Re: Shattuck

I did not see them play on Friday, but I heard that they totally dominated the game against Southwest. That team has more D1 players committed than Shattuck does. I did watch them destroy Northwest 10-1. I thought that top line of Toews, Stepan, and Murray was great. Toews had 3 Stepan 2 and Murray...

I would beg to differ with original post. My son has gone through this program for many, many years. That's because of all the early departures to the show from the hockey team, and UND didn't have Clem Haskins running their tutoring program. Re: your reference to "the show",... you did mean Ringling Brothers Circus didn't you? Your right, it is billed as "the greatest SHOW on earth...

Congrats to Danny (maybe?)

Why would someone pay $9,000/year (or $30,000/year in the case of Shattuck) to get a top notch private high school education; only to "elect" to attend a "less then average" (third tier academic rank) college?

If you review the D3 recruit website, and scroll thru the teams, you will find several familiar names with MN ties.
