woodbury loses a lot of bantam A players after their second year to schools like hill murray and cretin, and it isnt that big of a city, we would either have 2 Jgold teams or how we have it now, one Jgold B team and a U16 team

I've heard that woodbury has been doing pretty well this year, hope we can play u guys eventually b/c that'd be a great game. Some of the teams that should be in the top 10 are wayzata blue, chaska, woodbury of course, IGH (apparently a solid team this year), edina, and burnsville looked very good when we played them, not sure what others think but I think they deserve an honorable mention

D8

Lakeville cannot be forgotten. They are a good hockey team. If we (IGH) and Lakeville win are first round games it should be a helluva semifinal game in playoffs.

With only 2 teams coming from D8 the championship and the game between the 3rd place winner and runner up will be good games IF the top teams dont get knocked off by the lower ones.

There is too big a difference between the top 3 teams in D8 and the rest of the teams (unless something miraculous happens, like the Hudson/IGH game). But because of the double elimination system, it's gonna be pretty tough for those lower teams.

What's up with IGH? freighttrain if you could explain this... It seems like your top 5 or so players are up to varsity standards. The downfall might be the rest of the team... I'm not sure. But what's up with the sudden improvements?

Chubby IGH has 14 seniors & 2 juniors (7 players were on the Simley V/JV last season,6 returning players,2 seniors from Rosemount got cut and 1 B bantam from last season?? The sudden improvement comes with mature players that have something to prove!!!! Coach77

How does anything that you just said make any bit of coherent, logical sense? What is a coincidence? The fact that their goalies are walls and they have tall players? There is nothing unusually coincidental about that. Hows this for a coincidence: The fact that you're from chaska and sound like a reject from the special ed. bus? No, thats no coincidence either, thats just straight fact. Shut your mouth.

Thats really unfortunate you have two goalies, one good and one bad, at wdby we only wanted our one good one, because we didnt want one good goalie and one that was mediocre, we just wanted our one good one that we can rely on

The first tie-breaker is head-to-head competiton.
The second is most wins in league play
The third is fewest losses in league play
The fourth is most fair play points in league play
The fifth is largest goal differential, etc.etc

It seems the Jr Gold B ties were determined by head-to-head competition and therefore didn't have to go further down the list.

Minnesota Hockey Rulebook.
