I agree. He'll be playing in Sioux Falls instead.

It should be another intense game this Saturday, it seems like these two teams are going in opposite directions. I'm going to guess that Roseville will be fired up because of their poor performance against CDH and WBL will have a letdown from the big win on Thursday so Roseville gets an early jump and holds on to win 4-3.
ChrisK has amazing psychic powers! Nailed the early jump and final score correctly. Hanson showed that he has skills but Rsvl's Mueller put on quite a show himself. Twas a very good game adding to the fact that this rivalry continues to be one of the better rivalries in the league.

ChrisK, Hansen had the goal in the third
I was at the end where the Hansen shot that wasn't counted...from my angle it appeared to hit the back crossbar (in the net) and bounce out. It was one powerful shot! Of the people around me about half thought it was in and the other half thought it was off the iron. I would like to see the replay as well.
I was at the opposite end of the kicking goal but since WB didn't argue too much I assumed the referee got the call correct.

Good game last night. not nearly the intensity the CDH game had. White Bear had a terrible first period, bad passes and turnovers led to 2 goals. 2-0 Raiders after one. It wasn't until the Bears made it 4-1 that they found some jump and started skating and taking over play for stretches and had Roseville back on their heels. They had several chance to tie it late, including a sweet deflection that missed by inches.

Dorr. Mueller and Schlugal all had excellent games. I thought WBL 3rd line played well though they didn't score.

Corey let in a couple of soft goals, although he might have been screened on Schlugal's goal.

Roseville deserved to win as they played solid the whole game. Its too bad the Bears didn't show up early.

well rosevill got real lucky, A WBL student got ejected from the game for standing up for the BEARS, the stupid rosevill fans started chanting Hanson sucks, and then the amazing jake then scored 2 goals to shut them up, so it just goes to show that i could take all of the rosevill student section by my self

You know who played real solid for Roseville was the refs, they won it for the Raiders.

One of the worst officiated games I've ever witnessed, anyone that was there
can only agree.

I wasn't at the game...

But screaming about the refs doesn't explain why your team found itself down 4-0. Why don't you go out and win so convincingly the refs can't hose you? Stillwater just may pass you for the #4 seed...

Then shut your mouth.

Fact of the matter is a checking from behind that wasn't called in the Roseville end, resulted in an odd man rush for either their 3rd or 4th goal.
and then the two goals called off one from Hansen was a goal as I was at the concession stand right above the Roseville net as Hansen shot it and the puck hit the back rail of the goal out and then the goal called off right down where I was sitting ref said it was kicked in when it first hit off Taylor Johnson then off a Roseville player and in

For all of you who werent at the game, you probably shouldnt be speaking about how the officiating of the game went, because I'm gonna have to agree with the youngsters that it was one of the worst officiated high school games I have witnessed in about 5 years. Hansens first shot was 100% a goal, and the refs were far behind the play, basically just guessing. He had no angle to call it a goal or not, due to his awful positioning. The interference call on the hit against Dorr in the second period was god awful, he was carrying the puck, got checked off of it, and WBL gets tagged with interference??? Very odd. Other than that, very well played game. RV's goalie came up big in the latter part of the game on a few point blank chances made from Hanson. And you guys are right, Hanson wont be playing for WBL next year, no way. BTW- I thought it was kind of funny the Roseville kids were giving Hanson a hard time. HE'S A GOPHER, and Dorr is a BULLDOG. Lack of hockey knowledge from the "thugs" from Roseville. Apparently growing up in Roseville is a hard knock life, because they think they are gangsters. Very embarrasing for a former Roseville graduate.

He's not anymore, he rescinded his verbal, presumably to play at a better WCHA school.

That goal of Hanson's that was called off was a tough call. We thought it was in from our red line seats. The call was made quick. Same with the kicking motion of ref calling off the other goal on the visiting east end. Both calls were made quick and deliberate. Who knows for sure. I thought hit on Dorr was an ok call. He was checked off the puck in front of us and as he moved to regain control of puck his forward motion was obstructed. What I like about both Hanson and Dor is you can pick them out immediately without having to look them up on the roster. They're performers hoping their line can follow. They make a great game to watch. The game was outstanding.

After reading all the posts, I see many I would agree with and many not! Personally I didnt think the officials did that poor of a job, at least as not as poor as the bears were the 1st period! For a first place game the Bears sure didnt seem to be up for it. Though once the second period rolled around one could see that the game was getting better, and the bears were playing better. It was a fun game to watch!

The controversy on Hansens goal... I was sitting on the other end, I didnt have a great angle, but it looked like a goal to me. (no goal judges why?) I had a buddy standing above the net who says it was 100% in??? The goal called off for kicking it in was a POOR call... I had the best seat in the house on that call, and it WAS NOT kicked in... it was tipped, and then off a skate and in... I looked up the rule, and based on what I saw, it should have counted..... but it didnt... and thats the way it goes!

Good news, they play again.... =)

and as far as I'm concerned I could care less about Sparlimb's respect because I'm not someone who sits on this site all day trying to relive my glory days because I'm a washed up has been/never was. I'm just trying let people know that didn't see this game that the box score doesn't tell the whole story.

Oh well, I think this game will make section's that much more exciting because WBL continues to improve and they will have something to prove to the rest of the state and I think we'll be seeing another WBL vs. Hill classic this year.

I thought the whole story was WBL didn't show up for the first half of the game. They have a good team and two good lines with the addition of Lemon and the emergence of Villineauve, Fiala, and Swanson. They will need to way more consisitent if they want to go anywhere in March.

Dorr is not a Bulldog so you lack the most current hockey knowledge. Keep up with the news old man.

And as to your slam on us Roseville fans, we show up to our team's games, support them enthusiastically, and have some fun along the way. We outnumber the oppositions fans even when we're the away team (right Woodbury?). In closing, old man, we're disappointed that you're one of us. Peace out!

Fact is thay WBL should've won 5-4, and there was numerous penalties not call on both sides.
