Just wondering--is the 'rumor' that Erin Cody will attend BSU based strictly on the presence of Steve Sertich? Or is there some other evidence? Officially, BSU has announced only two 2007 recruits, Annie Bauerfeld being one and Cody is not the other one.

That's a good question. I've been wondering the same and checking the BSU website frequently...and seen nothing regarding Erin Cody as yet. Could be someone in the know has mentioned it though I s'pose. I can say it wouldn't surprise me a great deal. It appears Sertich is having a positive effect and BSU has already become quite a bit more competitive...as I expected. Cody would be a great addition to the Beavers...or any team.

In other words, I'm pretty curious to find out if the rumor is true. One of the states top forwards in this class IMO.

Not a "commitment" per se, but according to the listed roster on the official UMD website, Johanna Ellison has transferred to the Bulldogs from Boston College. Glad to have Johanna in the WCHA and looking forward to the opportunity to watch her play again.
