They actually had the better of the play early, before the referee's decided to hose them.

WBL never lead, due to the refs. 5-0 Roseville until the 3rd, then WB decided since the refs wern't going to let them play 5 on 5 they better score shorthanded. 4 short handed goals (1 penalty shot).

Roseville does deserve the #1 seed, if they give it to Hill it is wrong. I'd like to say WBL should be higher, but probably 4th.

Is Hartman related to this woman?

figuring that Mary Hartman is almost ancient now, it must be his great-grandma

Let me just throw out a fact: Rose was shorthanded once, WBL was shorthanded 10+ times.

Just goes to show that Roseville is a more disciplined team!

HOCKEY SCOUT wrote:Roseville played an excellent game. Michael Dorr improved his stock immensely with a very smart and hard played game.

Reffing was among the worst I have seen in 35 years of scouting, I was hoping to see a great game and instead saw a pair of refferees decide the outcome in the first period. Hats off to roseville on being sec champs, hats off to WBL for fighting hard to overcome an obviously ridiculous situation.

powerplays on the night--roseville 9 total (2- 5-3's for over a minute and a half)
WB 1 total.

I don't care who you are rooting for wbl or roseville this was bad. The 2 refs should be out of the game.

I have scouted WBL quite a bit this year because we are watching Hanson pretty closely and I have seen this numerous times this year.

WBL is not a cheap team, there coaches seem to treat the ref's with respect during the game, anyone know more of a history on why they seem to get the short end of the stick quite a bit from the ref's.

Roseville should be the number 1 seed in this section over Hill because of their non-conference schedule from what I have seen and would have a great shot at a state title if they survive the section.
I believe this guys opinion is unbiased. By the way WBMD if I hear about your preseason prediction for the Bears again I may hurl.

Great job, wbmd - you were only one game off. Tough to be that accurate in the pre-season. I would not wish to play the Bears in the post-season.

And I wouldn't want to play Stillwater either as they are definitely the darkhorse in the sections.

true dat, hopefully stillwater can ruin it for some better teams who think they can just walk past the ponies
