I want Duluth to take this one...i think they have it. Plus i want to see STA lose a darn game and get shut out from a back to back state chapionship shot. Plus Crandall is just not doing so good...the Orono game at one point he had 3 shots and 2 goals. So they all need to step it up.

Duluth-3 OT
STA-2

Well, I have seen both these two teams play and I was not impressed with the goaltending from either team. Tough choice, it could truly go either way. I go with DM over STA 5-3 (EN) Should be a fun game to watch overall. Goodluck to both teams 8) :!:

Crandal is the weaker goalie. He is not that good. Announcers are just in love with him becuase they can say his name better.

Good call

I will say that I don't think any goalie in this tournament is as good as these commentators make them sound, but I do think Crandall is much better than the kid from DM. If STA could have put some shots on in that period it'd be 4-1. Just watch how far the kid gets sucked to the middle of the net. He leaves the short side open and STA has the idea. They were firing there whenever they had chances but missed high or wide every time. Crandall plays good position and has solid technique and is by far the better goaltender.

More controversy for this years tourney. Now we hear that there are 2 Zamboni Guys. It's a conspiracy.

Nope, no controversy...a simple mis-quote. It was flatontheice who said that Crandal was the weaker goalie.
flatontheice wrote:Crandal is the weaker goalie. As the game goes on, you will see. He is not that good.
I personally disagree with this statement. I would say that Crandal is a far better goalie than Duluth Marshall's goal keeper.
