Vermont U19AAA Labor day tournament

I know Walser Blue and the Ice Cats are in it, anyone know who else from Minnesota is going?

Jr Whitecaps. I think that's it for 3 total as Walser Red U19 is going to another event I hear..., although I'm not certain if there may be another IceCats going again? the IceCats referenced above I assume is the Burg/Perushek version - the current U19, whereas there has been another U19 version through last summer's Int'l Cup?

The NAHA Vermont tourney went well for all Minnesota teams. The Whitecaps went 4-0 in pool play and qualified for the medal round but lost both to go 4-2 . The Ice Cats went 3-1 in pool play but didn't get the wild card for medal round, finished 5-1. Walser Blue went 2-1-1 in pool play and finished 4-1-1.

Little ceasers won the tourney, oddly enough the White Caps beat them 2-0 in pool play but lost to them 4-0 in medal round. The style of play was very different from tournaments here. Very physical defensive games not much called by officials, and penalties were 1:30 running time,(really kept game moving).

Fun to watch

Thanks for the report. Excellent results for the three Minnesota teams, going a combined 13-4-1 !!!
