OOOOOO Tartan almost beat Woodbury? Did they? no i think they lost actually... I didnt realize that tartan should get some attention for ALMOST beating woodbury... besides woodbury smoked them in shots, carry wood was the reason they won any games at all.. and without him next year, in 4AA, haha goodluck...
Tartan Titans
The Tartans eating their young (or in Tartan English - "there" young). Sometimes I check in here during the summer just for the entertainment value.
Oh by the way - how about these baseball scores:
Apr. 13 - HM 7, Tartan 5
May 2 - HM 9, Tartan 4
Jun 1 - HM 4, Tartan 3
Jun 6 - HM 3, Tartan 1
Hill-Murray - Classic Suburban Conference & Section 4AAA Champions
Oh my, how can this be?

I dont why TARTANTITAN11 posted this. We all know tartan is going to suck like they do evey year this year. They are always garbage. They have no discipline and I would rather have a coach that has been to State 3 out of the past 6 years than for a coach that hasnt done one thing for the program because u guys still lose and will always lose because ur tartan which is a terrible school anyways. So how about u go back to 8 mile and take ur crap hockey team with ya.

stpaul, did they take 4AAA? I can't find anywhere that has that accurately.
Even if they did, they won because they have a good team and program and have been good the past few years, maybe more. But what does that have to do with hockey? I remember a few years ago when Tartan was the conference champ in hockey and went to state.

Stpaul,
Let's not forget about the Pioneer football team. HM 19 Tartan 0. Pioneers celebrate another conference title in front of the Titans. Talk about total dominance of Tartan this year across the board. Big bad public school with it's large enrollment can't touch the tiny public school. Ya gotta love it!

They did win 4AAA (unfortunately).HShockeywatcher wrote:stpaul, did they take 4AAA? I can't find anywhere that has that accurately.

And as far as a "few years ago", that doesn't really mean much either, does it? Damn near every team in the state went to the Tourney "a few years ago" - particularly suburban schools. The difference is that many of them are able to sustain an upper eschelon program for several consecutive seasons (whether they make tourney appearances or not). Tartan has not done that. They'll jump into the mix from time-to-time, but there's no consistency from one season to another with them.

Inthebox,
First of all, sorry you were unable to handle the academics at Hill and were asked to leave. Secondly, your handle (inthebox) is very fitting at Tartan. Lastly, talking about Hill's total dominance of Tartan is just a way to cool off the morons from Tartan who come on this board every year and brag up their program. Hopefully this will cool their heals for a bit...doubtful.

We all know basketball is basically played by all those people who are not tough enough to play hockey. As for the alleged incident involving one of Hill's basketball coaches, it once again points out the difference between kids at Hill & kids at Tartan. The Hill kids never accepted the proposition, informed their parents, who then notified the school, who in turn notified the authorities. Tartan kids would have accepted the proposition, followed thru with the "activities", and bought beer with the money they received.
