Agree, good scorer, nice hands. Seems to me she was one of, if not the, leading team scorer last year as a freshman on a team that went to state.brookyone wrote:Somebody mentioned Burnsville...and jogged my memory. hocktang- sorry if you took offense to this, just having fun. Your posts sound like a proud parent that wants their kids name on the web. Nothing personal.hocktang wrote:What??? Keep an eye on Jordyn Burns, a 9th grader at BSM. She was just switched to forward two games ago, and since then has picked up two goals and two assists. Good size and hands, creative playmaking, and knows how to put the puck in the net. Pretty easy prediction that she will be closely watched and highly recruited in the next couple of years.

Re: Underclassmen
Hasn't anyone noticed that there is an underclassperson trading the goal scoring leadership day to day? Taylor Kuehl of Mound-Westonka is a freshman (in her third year playing varsity). Her dad was the AD for several years and is now the Head Coach.brookyone wrote:If anyone feels like taking the time and posting their opinion(s), rather than top players from a specific section, I'm always interested in who the top juniors...or sophomores are in the minds of fans who get to a fair number of games. I don't think he said Rapids has 7 D1 seniors this year. He said 7 potential D1 players on the team. They only have 5 seniors on the team. Hard to believe Stillwater and Roseville don't have any seniors who have signed D1 or least no one has listed them as having any. They both are loaded with young talent.
It is hard to believe that Stillwater and Roseville have no D-1 recruits!!hockeywild7 wrote:I don't think he said Rapids has 7 D1 seniors this year. He said 7 potential D1 players on the team. *Also FWIW, there's some thought that D-I opportunities for another player could possibly be diminished via the absence of her linemate...being as they had a nice / effective chemistry.
*Just what I'd call scuttlebutt...may or may not end up being reality.

Babineau is a senior though, not underclass. Roseville has an amazing sophomore class. Brausen, Capistrant, Duellman, Witwicke, and Logan.iceit wrote:also Babineau from Roseville is a super player. Not as flashy as some but hard nosed, goes in the corners, gets dirty, hard to the net, worker AND a super kid.

This is correct. I said GRG has 7 POTENTIAL D1 players. Only one of the seven is a senior, and she is committed to BSU.hockeywild7 wrote:I don't think he said Rapids has 7 D1 seniors this year.
