2AA: Predictions for EDINA vs. HOLY ANGELS game score

Interesting that the referee called a penalty shot on Edina for Lauren Smith. I think it was a bad call. Correct me if I'm wrong but on the play Lauren Smith broke free in nuetral ice. The Edina defensive player was all over her starting at neutral ice. Smith dragged the Edina girl all the way to the net and got a shot off. Personally I don't know how it can be called a penalty shot when Smith took a shot that was blocked by the Edina goalie. Am I missing something?gopher9 wrote:1-1 O.T.MNHockeyFan wrote:May be posted elsewhere, but Edina was ahead of AHA 1-0 at the end of one. I saw the same thing, no way should they have called a penalty shot on that, I thought the Edina D on that one did a good job maybe a penalty of 2 minutes but that is a big maybe. I think it was the loud fans that prompted that one it almost looked like the ref gave it an afterthought.
But In the 3rd when an AHA player pulled down the Edina player from behind when she was going in for a shot scould have been more likely to get a penalty shot in my opinion she was draged down from behind.
