Close one!!
With the Rams playing without two or their top forwards, this would be the game for Moorhead to win. Of course I am going to stick with my Rams in a close one, but would not be suprised either way. I would be suprised if this game is decided by more than 2 goals.

Can somebody clarify for me, has Oliver played at all yet this year?watchdog wrote:if those two players add up to that. than the rams are in deep trouble to go anywhere this year. oliver brings alot to the table as a presants but hes not a big time scoreing machine as of yet. oh and my prediction will be moorhead tonight.

Spuds up 4-0 after one
That was very, very impressive. After the first period, the Spuds are up 4-0 and have controlled play.

i wouldnt say it was just Oliver or just Lee. They are struggling with out all these guys with experience. They did lose Mr. Hockey Aaron Ness last year and when you lose your starting goaltender too it is going to be though. When Oliver comes back from his injury they will be a very different team he is the most physical kid on the team and will be able to take pressure of other guys like Landman a think we will se a different
Rams team when they play in Moorhead.

Agreed,McPlayer. It will be a different team the by end of January. Moorhead was just more ready to play at the start, and by the time Roseau got their legs, it was 4-0. Jordan Doschadis was the player of the game.He set the tone earlywith his physical play. Good win for the Spuds, but there's a lot of season left.
If a team (any team) has to rely on 1 player to make that much of a difference, they're gonna have a lot more nites like the Sheep did tonite !McPlayer56 wrote:i wouldnt say it was just Oliver or just Lee. Not just one player it is 2 that are out...#8 & #23...And unfortuneately in Roseau...yea one or two players make a huge difference, that is the tough part for small schools in getting three lines deep.

I have to agree with MACPLAYER
n this one ,,,,After the first period and roseau settled down the game was not that lopsided..fast forward about 30 days throw Oliver and Erikson in the mix maybe the 2 most physical players forwards on the team and I think we may see a whole different lets say flow to the game

Rams
No excuses, the Rams got flat outplayed especially in the first. The team is still trying to find itself and find the line combos that will work. As stated earlier, I believe Oliver and Erickson will help this team tremendously. These two combined for 66 points and 30 goals last season. Time will tell if those two in the line-up will be enough to over take the Spuds in a rematch.
Sounds like there might be a few older Ram fans on here - if so, lemme pick your brain a little: Anybody know whatever became of Jared Gustafson ? He played for the Rams back in the 90s & after graduation, he was with the Fargo-Moorhead Ice Sharks (USHL). He & his folks would stop in & say "Howdy" once in a while when they were down here to play. Used go up & chase walleyes with 'em on Lake of the Woods. Haven't heard a single word since he went off to college (Bemidji State). Anyone have any idea ? They lived out by Salol.

I believe that he is a youth pastor at a church in Roseau. I'm not sure about that, but I think that is what he is doing now?SPUDNUT wrote:Sounds like there might be a few older Ram fans on here - if so, lemme pick your brain a little: Anybody know whatever became of Jared Gustafson ?
