It was Kevin Gorg, what do you expect? He's an idiot.slapstkhound wrote:If these commentators keep gushing about Ben Marshall, I'm gonna puke. Are there no other Mahtomedi players on the ice?theoneandonly1 wrote:Mahtomedi 4

Mahtomedi has one very good line, and exactly one defenseman of note. Owatonna doesn't have even that. There was very little in this game, to gush about.slapstkhound wrote: If these commentators keep gushing about Ben Marshall, I'm gonna puke. Are there no other Mahtomedi players on the ice?
Marshall is good, but it wasn't that difficult to stand out in this group. He's a sophomore, and he has already committed to the U, is that right?
He's a fast and tough little bugger, but I would think he's going to need to grow a bit before he steps into WCHA action.

I am sure he will play in the WCHA but, even Gorg had to finally say he is a little wet behind the ears.WayOutWest wrote:Mahtomedi has one very good line, and exactly one defenseman of note. You have to remember he is still adjusting to a new full time position on defense. With some years of growth ahead of him and getting situated to playing defense, he should be ready to roll by the time he hits college. The tools are definitely there though.WayOutWest wrote:Marshall is good, but it wasn't that difficult to stand out in this group. Kid has been playing Defense ever since my son has been playing with and against him.
