Hope all is well with number 5.... I beileve he broke his wrist in a few places
yeah redwood came out firing. Although were very stupid and took alot of penalties and honestly probably should have got more. they got extremely lucky that marshall has trouble putting the puck in the net.

How close was the willmar game last night? Looks like Hutch got beat pretty bad, and NU beat an easy team. Is NU making a move for the #1 seed? I still like Hutch but that could change.

Marshall is number one. seriously. marshall is a darkhorse i wouldnt be surprised if they took this thing. They can play with anyone and seeing how inconsistent everyone is its all open.[/quote]

Is Marshal still your dark horse? Losing to Redwood? wow...

If marshall could of put the puck in the net with those godsent powerplay opportunities for the majority of the 2nd period they would have easily one.

I can't believe this is EIGHT pages long! It could be summarized in one page, one and done.

Hutch beat Nothfeld 3 - 0, didn't NU beat Northfield 8 - 1 on Tuesday? Willmar lost to Brainard 5 - 2. Maybe NU is making a move for the #1 seed. With the record that Wilmar has ( under 500 ) I think it would be hard to give them the top seed, so its down to Hutch and NU. Who will play there best down the stretch?

first of all sregit34 needs to get over the fact that his team sucks. It's obvious you play for marshall cuz all you do is talk them up. Stop listening to your coach tell you guys that anything can happen and you can beat anyone if you put your mind to it. You can't. If you wanna prove to me that you belong in this section, then beat New Ulm when they come to your barn on thursday. Until then shut up. Anyways... i agree, it's gonna more than likely come down to NU and Hutch for the top seed. Willmar needs a better record. Hutch and NU could reach 20 wins. I don't know how Hutch only won 3-0, but they seem to be slipping. NU is blowing people out night after night. Part of that is due to their easy schedule, but they are still playing good. A week ago i had Hutch at number 1, now it's New ulm.

very true on both cases, new ulm has an easier schedule than they used to, but its obvious considering the scores, they are still my pick. Unless there is an upset, which may happen in both cases, i see New Ulm vs. Hutch finals, New Ulm taking the trip
bring on the hate..

sregit34, come on...be realistic here, marshall wont even go past round one of sections..bad seed=hutch, new ulm, or willmar first round. your done.

amen to that!!!! so true. So seedings are just a couple weeks away and here's how i got it:
1. New Ulm= good record-partly in fact to the weaker schedule- but nonetheless on fire. As long as they win the games they should the rest of the year (@litch, @Marshall, @ dodge county) then they could get the #1. PLus that huge senior class should lead well come playoffs.
2. Hutch= good schedule, but flopping as of late. The thing they got going for them that could ride them through the playoffs is good goaltending as of late. But they seem to be struggling against the teams that NU has killed so that's why they are #2
3. Willmar= they did beat hutch, that's good, but they have a poor record. They need to find scoring in order to go all the way
4. Redwood Falls= i can't believe i'm saying this, but they are the best of the very worst right now. But will not go far.
5. Marshall= stop running your mouths and shut up. You might be able to beat redwood in the playoffs, but that's it. So quit thinking your in the big boys league, cuz your not.
6. Luverne= need to find more scoring other than paquette.
7. Litchfield= needs more scoring and more consistancy. You can't lose to Marshall and expect to do anything come playoffs.
8. Windom= i don't know why. From here on down i'm just guessing.
9. Worthington= one and done
10. Fairmont= needs some talent...sometime in this century.
11. Sleepy Eye= Is there another sport your town is good at? Cuz if there is then try and stick to that, cuz you got nothing going in this sport. It's like watching a bunch of squirts slapping the puck around.

You do know that some kids play hockey to have fun. Sleepy Eye may be horrible but at least they try and have some fun doing it. You dont have to be the best in the state or section to play. So just cool out bud.

my money is on hutch to win sections and seems like new ulm kids on this are getting pretty cocky and i think they will go into that game thinking theyr the top dog of the section and i got hutchinson beating them by 3 in sections if they meet up

FYI:I heard that the NU coach told the players to stay off this site. So prob not players from NU. As far as top dogs, Hutch beat NU right. I hope they wouldn't be cockey about getting beat.

Right now my money is still on Hutch, they play better teams and have a good record. But I think NU has closed the gap. I hope the top teams play there best come playoff time so we can see some good games.
