Hey, if they want to be disappointed twice in one week instead of just once, that's fine with us!
Pretty sure your making a joke that doesnt make sense. So the joke was you will beat Elk then Us correct? But if we are cheering for YOU then Elk wins, (aka 1st dissapointment) that means you cant beat us.

1st disappointment - Cheering for CEC when they lose to Elk River
2nd disappointment - Cheering for the Hounds when they lose to Elk River
The Jacks sure know when to crank it up.
I don't think they can crank it enough to beat the Elks.
Then again, I've bet against them about 5 playoff games in a row now.

6-1 Elks
So your saying that weren't suppose to beat Osseo or Champlin Park??? Losses to these teams should give the CEC fans hope that they can pull out a victory over the Elks.
As much as I like to root for the underdogs I still have to side with one of our NWSC foes.
Elks win 5-2
Thats a good point but its crunch time now and sars will have his boys playing like they are facing the centennials and the blaines and Ep and so on i dont see the jacks being to big of a problem but you never no they always play big come playoffs. Still elk river win by 3 at least
Best time of the year in high school hockey in my opinion. I know many will argue state is, but state is secluded to just a few select teams. The weekend where semis in sections is doing down, EVERYONE is involved, theoretically, and it's so fun hearing about all the action and scoreboards across the state. Upset specials & favorites downing their opponents alike.
Unfortunately I won't be able to see any games, so keep the scoreboards online updates fellas!
* Is anyone aware of any live radio feeds for these 7AA games?

WEBC 560 will have both the 7AA games live on the radio.

I'd definitely agree. The state tournament is lots of fun, yes, and I can't wait to go see it, but Semifinal Saturday just has an aura about it that makes it very special (though painfully so, in my experiences). With 20 AA games tomorrow, it's going to be an incredibly busy day.
I'll be experiencing it vicariously, via the WEBC feed.
I would like to comment on the radio announcer on that feed. He was very good, I've heard a bunch of feeds since I've been out of state and he was by far the best.
I suppose it helped that he couldn't stop announcing Elk River goals, but hey. Just kidding. He was just very professional in comparison to some others I've heard.
First, congrats to Cloquet. After a tough season, they did quite well to stun Grand Rapids and got all our minds racing for a bit. They ended the season on an upswing, and I expect them to be back with a vengeance next year.
Next, great job by the Elks to finish off the Jacks. That's no easy task, as many teams could relate, and even though they let Cloquet hang around for a while, they clamped down when they need to. Pullar gave Cloquet a bit of a David Brown treatment, which I certainly enjoyed. Getting outshot by Cloquet in the first two periods does not bode well, but I am sure we're in for a good game on Thursday night.

I've always thought the same thing. His name is Mark Marette... and he's only 23 years old. Very professional and talented young broadcaster. I hope he gets a chance to do UMD some day
