EP 5-1

Sounds just like when you picked the Hornets . . . . .

This should be a good game...I like Moorhead's ability to score goals and Eden Prarie has great goaltending just like Cretin did last night. Leddy could be a major factor in this game as well as #14 for the Spuds. I think it should be a fairly low scoring game but who knows it could be a goal scoring affair. I'm gonna have to go with the Spuds 4-2 with the empty net

We have not had a good championship game since Moorhead lost to Holy Angels in '05 and I don't see that changing tonight. Although I am really rooting for Moorhead in this one, I just don't see it happening. They proved me wrong when I picked Edina in the quarters so we will see what happens. They don't have the skill that EP has, but what they lack in talent they make up for in heart/hard work. I think the more skilled team wins this game, so I am going with EP. Prove me wrong again Spuds!

My Prediction:
Eden Prairie: 4
Moorhead: 1

My Want: A Moorhead victory in OT. I love OT games :D

Sure hope you're right. They also proved ME wrong in the games with Warroad, Centennial & Edina (& almost Jefferson).

So I'll say it for a 5th time: Aiin't gonna be pretty for the Taters (lets see what happens).

The terrible reffing of the tourney continues. 4 refs missed a checking from behind/roughing hit Helen Keller could have called. Instead of killing a penalty EP then scored a chip shot.
Go Hounds.

That one wasn't a terrible call- but the no call on the penalty hurt.

Any goalie interference is going to be hard to overturn. I'm really thinking the one Moorhead blew was the rap around they missed.

Anyone else catch that the two refs are from the south metro?

I'm not saying they are biased, but come on...... what would people say if one ref was from Fergus and the other was from Detroit Lakes?

And those towns are over 40 miles away from Moorhead!!!!!!

I thought that was an interesting and respectful statement EP made about Moorhead saying the team they didn't want to face in the first round was them. Cause had they played then they'd be out of the tourney like Edina was. Moorhead has really tightened up on the EP forwards like they said, but thus far EP is doing even better counter. I really think Moorhead needs to be doing more of the dumping and chasing and using their strength down low, especially against the non-Leddy lines. All in all, EP look as though they've finally come to play three solid periods.

Love the Moorhead kid's name "Buckellew". Agree nice compliment by EP to Moorhead's team. EP doing the better job tonight.

After listening to Lou Nanne announce the Moorhead games over the last couple days, I'll be that guy and ask, how do you pronounce 'Moorhead'?
Is it phonetically like Lou pronounces it; "moor-hed" or is it how most say it; "more-head"?
