both teams are talented. it'll come down to who wants it more. virginia is definitely making a name for its program here in the last 6 years. just like 2005, i'll take viginia 5-3 in a packed DECC. wednesday will be something for the ages. SEE YOU IN ST. PAUL VIRGINIA PLAYERS AND FANS!!!

Barn Burner of a game boys. Judging from watching the 2 teams play Saturday I am going to give the edge to Hibbing. Virginia played with not much of a pulse on Saturday and Virginia goalie was fighting the puck a bit. I am certain that Virginia will not sleep walk into this one and be all guns blazing for Wednesday night. Hibbing to me looks confident in what they are doing and the coaches have those kids doing all the little things well. Smothering play throughout and forcing the opposition. It will be an old IRC dogfight to be sure. Hard to pick this one but I think right now Hibbing has a slight edge in momentum. 3-2 thriller.

and to let everyone know about the people saying it was a hibbing kid that went punching, he does not go to hibbing, nor does the girl. and neither got arrested.

Seasons over Bronx18 sorry bud, if the blue devils make it to state maybe they can try and actually compete for themselves, their town, and the iron range unlike previous years. :-k

This is the best preview I've read so far with the falls fans still bickering and Virginia fans all up on their high horse. You hit the nail right on the head. For the first time I feel completely confident Hibbing will win. In past years there's always been that shadow of doubt in the back of my mind. This year, as long as Hibbing plays like they did against the falls, will be a different story.

Should be a great game between two of the biggest rivals in northern Minnesota behind Warroad-Roseau...Both teams are fantastic teams..couldn't be a better matchup to have as the section finals. I'm going with Hibbing in a close one..4-3 in overtime. Best of luck to both teams. May the best team win.

lets hope that both teams come and play their best hockey, should be a hell of a game, both teams are great to represent section 7a and northern Minnesota/Iron Range.

Hibbinghater13 if your not from Virginia, then your obviously from I'Falls.

There is no way it will be more than a 2 goal deficit game.

I think Hibbing can go father down there. Their coaches have way more experience down there
