The Elite League sent 2 teams this past weekend to the USA-Canada Cup U19 tournament in Detroit. There were 16 top teams competing, 8 from the States and 8 from Canada and the tournament was hosted by the Little Caesars club. US teams participating included Shattuck, Chicago Mission, NAHA, Team Pittsburgh, etc.
The Black team won 2 and lost 3, and the White team won 4 and lost 1. Their only loss came in the Gold medal game, losing in a shootout to take home silver.
Black played the Etobicoke Jrs, Toronto Jr Aeros, Stoney Creek Jrs, Oakville Jrs, and Burlington.
White played the Mississauga Jrs, Burlington Jrs, Bluewater Jrs, London Jrs, and Stoney Creek.
Excellent hockey on display all weekend, and it was fun to see the Minnesota girls compete toe to toe with the Canadians. Many college coaches/scouts in attendance. The Little Caesar's web site has the schedule and results listed.

All seniors (2013's) from the fall Elite League teams (Red, Black and White) were invited to participate, most of whom did. The rest of the slots were filled with juniors (14's) and sophomores (15's). A couple of the girls arrived late or left a bit early from the weekend, so not all players listed played all games

The tournament kept score sheets but I don't have access to any stats. The fall Elite Leagues did play Shattuck several times, and as I understand it, those games are part of their "regular" season. Shattuck was at the tournament, but neither Elite team played them, which was good. No need to travel that far to play a "local" team!
Our girls were matched in all games against Canadian teams, which they enjoyed. The Canadian players have a reputation of being "tougher" which we saw. Our girls matched up very, very well. The Black team took a bit longer to "get going" but by the last couple of games they looked very good. White was strong from the outset, and their results bear that out, winning all but the last game. Broadly speaking, of the Minnesota girls that I learned have been working out in the off-season most of them seemed to match up pretty well against the Canadians when it came to toughness on the boards, etc. Strength and conditioning training seems to be well worth it in a roughly even strength game.
The overall quality of play in the tournament was excellent, in all the games we saw. (We did get a kick out of some of the Canadian teams, bringing portable skate sharpening machines, multiple sets of jerseys, etc - our girls were a little more pared down
)
There was also another girl's tournament happening that weekend, across town. Minnesota had one team that I know of participating, the Blades. They played Honeybaked, among other teams. Both tournaments had U16 and U14 divisions as well.
