Thanks Celly
Last I read prep45.com will be at Braemar, which is the 2AA games.
They'll be at both. They have a busy day today with gymnastics, girls hockey, and boys hockey, but it looks like they'll have it all.

Was a good pace to the game. I hadn't seen BSM play yet this year until today. Much weaker defensively & I think way too much of a one-line team, but they are one HELL of a line. They always seem to be in such command with the puck in the offensive zone. And from what I saw, they're pretty responsible defensively as well. They're not out there like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. I'm not a Pauly fan because of all the coaches that I've seen & sat close to the bench of games they've played in, he barks at the officials more than anybody. But he definitely can coach and you can see how responsible the BSM players are with & without the puck.

I thought EP played ok too. I thought Snuggerud played very well.

Eagles

EP is really going to have to clean up their play if they will win it in 2014. They take themselves out of the play time and time again trying to go for the big hits. Benilde will be favorite again next year based on guys coming back plus the top end players coming in.

Who is coming into BSM? No matter who it is, there is no way to come close to replacing their first line.

Now these are just rumors and not completely sure if this is true, but lukas gilliet from Rosemount, Ryan Norman from Shattuck Prep, and a couple others from big schools. Kids will come though, even though more kids leave Benilde to play hockey than "pick up" kids from other schools.

The talent of EPs first line of seniors will be missed. Any good youngsters coming up off JV or bantams? (or moving in :D )

With all the high quality transfers on this team and a High school with 3000 enrollment (and families willing to shell out big $ for extra hockey), you would think they could have done better than a 500 season. Something is broken.

Forgot to add the developmental promises of the "Elite" league. The EP coaching connection will have at least 7 kids on the roster which will include a transplanted player which is just part of the promises and package. BSM is not alone in 6AA when it comes to recruiting.

Recruiting is just a part of a game now. The rules of transfering are never strictly enforced, and therefor we have to accept the fact that there will be move ins. I can name at least one player that transferred to each of the top 5 seeds in this section.

  This was the go year and it was flittered away by mismanagement. As the state titles fade away into the past EP will not be a desired place for move ins.
