While few care about Class A:

EGF: First tournament in 11 years.
Apollo: First tournament in 29 years.
Marshall: First tournament ever.

It'll be cool to see some new teams out there.
You are correct, sir! I know little, and care less about Class A. With good reason.

One thing I do know about Class A is that they have a Champion and a Public School Champion. I don't if they will continue that after STA opts up.

That has little relevance to the point of this thread. There is, though, a thread dedicated to those types of post.

Seems you're not looking much at long-term. Some of those teams have made it an annual event lately and certainly have a history of making it, but they've all missed too.

You mentioned Blaine, well this is two years in a row they didn't make it. Hill-Murray didn't make it from 2003-2005. Duluth East didn't make it from 2006-2008.

Seriously Eden Prairie? They made it in 2009 and 2011, but they went from 1992 to 1999 without making it. Then they went in 2001 and 2003, and didn't make it again until 2009.

Edina didn't make it from 2001-2006.

People complained about Holy Angels, but they haven't been there since 2005 now.

There's been plenty of new blood in the 2000s forward:
Maple Grove made their first appearance in 2012
Eagan made it for the first time in 2006
Rochester Century made their first appearance in 2005
Woodbury made their first appearance in 2007.
Cloquet made it in 2008, their previous time was in 2002 and before that in 1993
Minnetonka made it in 2006, their previous state was 1994
Tartan made their first appearance in 2004
Eastview made their first appearance in 2001
