Actually, Wahlin didn't break the White Bear Lake scoring record, no matter what the story from Hockeyhub states.

Jake Hansen has the school scoring record from his junior season (2006-07 season) when he had 28 goals and a school record 43 assists for 71 points.

Sager is probably just disregarding Hansen's points because he left a year early for the USHL.
That's exactly what BOZO THE CLOWN Sager is doing as Wahlins 67 points are listed as a school record in the Pioneer Press All-East Metro Team as well as in the Hockeyhub story from their semifinal game.

Sore looser Sager. Just because a darn good player leaves your program a year early so he can step right in at the division 1 level is absolutely no reason to disregard his 71 points as a school record.

Is Sager going to disregard Wahlin's points whenever he departs early?? It will certainly be interesting to see when (or if) Wahlin leaves early.

Again, Jake Hansen's 71 points (28 goals & 43 assists) from his junior season (2006-07) is the actual White Bear Lake hockey single season scoring record.

I'm certainly no fan of Sager, but even I would question his authority to simply just erase stats from the record book, they don't just disappear. I'd like to hear someone ask him about this to his face. Records aren't something a coach can count or not.

Can anyone verify if this is at least the sophomore single season scoring record?
