Okay, so not to beat a dead horse here but one thing I don't understand about St. Thomas being a single A school is that they are an all boys school. This is something that I never hear of being brought up. Sure they have an enrollment of 1,066 and the cutoff is what around 1250 for a team that needs to be AA? However, if girls were enrolled in equal numbers they would be one of the biggest schools in the state of Minnesota. They have more guys to pull from for their hockey team than another public school with enrollment of 1300 considering aprox. half are girls... How has this never been brought up to the mshsl?

That 1066 figure already is double their actual enrollment. The MSHSL does this.lumberjackhockey wrote:Okay, so not to beat a dead horse here but one thing I don't understand about St. Thomas being a single A school is that they are an all boys school. STA's enrollment is technically 533, but they double it to account for girls. It's actually brought up quite frequently here.lumberjackhockey wrote:Okay, so not to beat a dead horse here but one thing I don't understand about St. Thomas being a single A school is that they are an all boys school. Sounds like a safe bet, since we're headed straight for running time.PuckU126 wrote:I am watching Sen. Rand Paul's filibuster instead of this game...karl(east) wrote:I may need something stronger than this free Coke to get through this one.
And I bet Sen. Paul lasts longer than this game.
STA had more goals than Apollo had attempted shots that period. (They had 3, all of which missed the net, and came from outside the far right circle.
