I don't think other commits were not allowed, just none participated. Travis Winter from BSU and Garrett Raboin from SCSU were coaches at the camp, which gave them visibility to the uncommitted prospects.Nuts&Bolts wrote:So turning this camp over to MN Hockey AND not allowing a commit other than to the Gophers made the camp better? What am I missing or wheres the punch line? You lost me at MN Hockey.
It's probably better for the other colleges if their recruits are NOT at Model Camp, given that Lucia has changed his stance on recruiting committed players.
How were these prospects chosen for the camp? The Exiled One wrote:I don't think other commits were not allowed, just none participated. If you go to Minnesotahockey.org and click on HP MN Model Camp, it will list how the kids were chosen, for the most part.NLHockey wrote:How were these prospects chosen for the camp? The Exiled One wrote:I don't think other commits were not allowed, just none participated. Ahhh, so the SAME kids keep getting seen by the SAME "scouts", program after program. I think I get it.BP wrote:If you go to Minnesotahockey.org and click on HP MN Model Camp, it will list how the kids were chosen, for the most part.NLHockey wrote:How were these prospects chosen for the camp? The Exiled One wrote: I don't think other commits were not allowed, just none participated.
