So turning this camp over to MN Hockey AND not allowing a commit other than to the Gophers made the camp better? What am I missing or wheres the punch line? You lost me at MN Hockey.

I don't think other commits were not allowed, just none participated. Travis Winter from BSU and Garrett Raboin from SCSU were coaches at the camp, which gave them visibility to the uncommitted prospects.

It's probably better for the other colleges if their recruits are NOT at Model Camp, given that Lucia has changed his stance on recruiting committed players.

How were these prospects chosen for the camp?

I believe it is linked to whether the player made it to the Final 54 Phase of their respective age groups?

If you go to Minnesotahockey.org and click on HP MN Model Camp, it will list how the kids were chosen, for the most part.

Ahhh, so the SAME kids keep getting seen by the SAME "scouts", program after program. I think I get it. Are they going to link it with the HS elite program?

I'm hosting one ... but I'm guessing it's a different kind of modeling.
