He's dodged this question many times. His son is obviously open-enrolled.
You are correct I do live in Apple Valley, but did not open enroll. Just a high school hockey fan who is appalled by the BS that goes on at North. It is sad to me that this is where things have gone. What happened to the good ole high school coach role models, and training, competing, and developing with your friends and representing the community you live in.

Maybe TE is a good coach. Not sure because he gets new players every year. But one thing i do know is the % of kids moving to the next level has not changed and it does not matter if your a Hornet, a Panther, a Greyhound or a Elk.

It's sad to me that this great game that used to represent what is great about youth sports as turned into this.
You may be a fan of the game (and that can certainly be questioned), but in this thread, you are a disgruntled parent - pure and simple.

If there was any validity to GTTNM's claims, it would have been addressed and handled immediately by the AD (it is clear he tried). In addition, any other AD involved, would have certainly made the LVN AD aware of any violations. I do not know a single AD that would risk the consequences/career of a MSHL rules violation - especially a transfer rule. If you think an AD would turn a blind eye to this, for a 9th grade hockey player, stud or not, you are as delusional as ever. Obviously there wasn't any violations and GTTNM turned to this forum to slander a coach. Shows his character.

If you have a sophomore or junior that is low end JV, it is time to accept the reality of the situation. You can conjure up all sorts of things and continue to place blame elsewhere, but the truth is on the ice, or in GTTNM's case, sitting in the stands.

You are just not worried about the good of hockey, it is obvious you have a personal dislike for the coach and want a bomb to go off. Do you have a son at LN? If so, what association did he play his youth hockey for?
Why can't he sign two agreements or combine the two amounts into one. Teachers do it all the time. Multiple sports, lunch room duty, patrols, work dances, detention all of these to make more money.

So you think they just forfeited the JV Head Coach stipend because TE is so nice and just a good guy. It will be paid.
Just call the AD and ask him how many coaches the district pays and if the varsity coach is getting 2 salaries. Report back on your findings. Please answer about what association your son played in.

What does where my son played association hockey matter in regards to the BS at North. If it's wrong it's wrong. You feel it's not so don't worry about it. I feel it's wrong along with many others.

You have every right to feel however you want. That doesn't mean your reasoning is sound.

Did your son replace a player who came through the LN association?

If GOTOTHENETMAN is not in the Lakeville North Association, he sure has a lot of interest in their high school squad dating back several years.

Didn't your older son get a state title?

He is not in the Lakeville North Association and he's not "Just a fan of High School Hockey," concerned with what's going on at North.

When someone is passionate about something and has posted on here long enough it's not hard to figure out who they are. It took me a half hour today using the Search function on this site and Google to figure out exactly who he is. I now understand why he has such a personal interest in this.
