You may be a fan of the game (and that can certainly be questioned), but in this thread, you are a disgruntled parent - pure and simple.Gotothenetman wrote:You are correct I do live in Apple Valley, but did not open enroll. Just a high school hockey fan who is appalled by the BS that goes on at North. It is sad to me that this is where things have gone. What happened to the good ole high school coach role models, and training, competing, and developing with your friends and representing the community you live in.Jeffy95 wrote:He's dodged this question many times. Somebody mentioned Apple Valley. Please clarify.
Maybe TE is a good coach. Not sure because he gets new players every year. But one thing i do know is the % of kids moving to the next level has not changed and it does not matter if your a Hornet, a Panther, a Greyhound or a Elk.
It's sad to me that this great game that used to represent what is great about youth sports as turned into this.
If there was any validity to GTTNM's claims, it would have been addressed and handled immediately by the AD (it is clear he tried). In addition, any other AD involved, would have certainly made the LVN AD aware of any violations. I do not know a single AD that would risk the consequences/career of a MSHL rules violation - especially a transfer rule. If you think an AD would turn a blind eye to this, for a 9th grade hockey player, stud or not, you are as delusional as ever. Obviously there wasn't any violations and GTTNM turned to this forum to slander a coach. Shows his character.
If you have a sophomore or junior that is low end JV, it is time to accept the reality of the situation. You can conjure up all sorts of things and continue to place blame elsewhere, but the truth is on the ice, or in GTTNM's case, sitting in the stands.
