Ha I had a feeling rapids might surprise Cec after they beat Wayzata.
CEC isn’t very good this year as far as win/loss. Why would this be a surprise? Because Karl from East had them #10 pre-season.
Leadership and stability at the top are huge, aren’t they? CEC has had neither for consecutive years, and 3 years ago there was civil war in the locker room. Maybe with the same coaches next year will come that leadership and stability kids need.

Rapids 5, CEC 3 en 10 seconds left
Well, this adds a little bit of intrigue to what had been a fairly sleepy section race. Grand Rapids is probably the third-best team in the section in terms of how they're playing right now. Question is, what does QRF make of them? Both they and Cloquet have games with Hermantown, which appears to be fighting something of a flu epidemic, left this week.
I was quietly optimistic early in the season. Just a young group that needed time to grow. They’ve worked hard and fought through multiple illnesses and are now reaping the rewards of the efforts. Their breakouts and one touch passing was surprisingly good tonight. As for the QRF I just don’t understand it. Forest Lake should be the 7 seed no question. Still waiting for the tie breaker margin. QRF was updated tonight. Elk River is really close now.
Yea Im wondering why they havent posted the TBM numbers yet. GR and ER are close but since ER beat GR they will stay ahead of GR. If Flake beats Roseville and GR loses to Htown then I dont think theyll stay in the TBM and will give flake/ER 4&5 and GR will stay at 6. Which I think they have a good chance to head south and "upset" CEC in the quarters
