Re: Early transfer Rumors?
Rajala left like all kids leave to go play better competition and get noticed more. I played against plenty of teams we lost to in squirts - bantams. In high school it was a different scene. Lost to rapids all of squirts to first year bantams after that we were 14-0 vs Rapids. Played Roseau in bantams in vfw state championship and we got killed. the next year moved up to high school let’s just say we didn’t get waxed we chased their starter and were there only loss.
They’re kids NOT PROFESSIONALS
It’s just a game!

Re: Early transfer Rumors?
A Strib article just listed Will Mikan as playing for Edina. Did he transfer or did Strib just screw that up?

Re: Early transfer Rumors?
"The Calgary Hitmen have signed 2009-born forward Will Mikan to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Mikan was listed in July 2026 and attended the 2026 Calgary Hitmen Training Camp. Hailing from Edina Minnesota, Mikan played for the St. Thomas Academy Cadets in the 2025-26 season. He registered over a point per game with 52 points (19G, 33A) in 28 games. Mikan will return to St. Thomas for the 2026-27 season. Mikan is an outstanding student and has committed to Yale University after his junior career."CrimsonCakeEater wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2026 3:23 pm A Strib article just listed Will Mikan as playing for Edina. Re: Early transfer Rumors?
Any other rumors out there now that Captains practices are mostly in full swing? Sounds like some mumblings and grumblings down on Valley View Road that the new regime is not making a good impression. Don't know how much truth there is to it but there have been a few kids who have left the program for one reason or another. Something to keep an eye on.

I have only heard of 1 from EP. I won't post it unless I have 100% confirmation though.....
Not an impact player....let's just say it would make a lot of people in the EP hockey community kind of chuckle in a way......

Chuckle because said Mom was president of the board and somehow saw the light to head over the bridge? Not an impact player by any means you are right but it says a lot right there.

I will neither confirm nor deny every detail you provided, including over the bridge.headsupsticksdown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2026 2:17 pm

I shouldn't laugh; every encounter I've had with the kid he's been good and that should be the focus and not what I think of her. I actually like the father. But I know I'm not alone in some taking joy with the mother.....
I will say thought that I have not heard of others though....

Not about the kid. But it is widely known that she was part of the coup that brought in the current regime and look what happened.Doc Holliday wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2026 2:28 pmI will neither confirm nor deny every detail you provided, including over the bridge.headsupsticksdown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2026 2:17 pm

A few key and top Bantams have left. From what I can tell the cupboard is looking pretty bare after this crop of 12th and 11th graders.
