Rogers @ Buffalo Jan. 24th
Not many M8 games deserve their own topic, but this one will be a great hockey game at the Buffalo Civic Center Thursday 1/24.
Both teams come into this game undefeated in the conference, and with a 2-2 tie in the 1st meeting back in mid Dec. at Rogers.
These teams match up very well,
Buffalo 8AA brings a 7-0-1 conf. record with 47 goals for and 13 against in the conf. And 3-2 record in section play.
Rogers 5AA with a 6-0-1 conf. Record and 43 goals for and 7 against in the conf. And 2-2 in section play.
This game most likely will decide who wins the M8 conference this year, and with the last 3 meetings having been ties, this will be one of the best games these two have ever had against each other.
Overall records this season.
Buffalo 10-5-1 Goals for and against 69-37
Rogers 12-5-1 Goals for and against 89-50
Rogers is riding an 8 game winning streak coming in to this game, giving up only 11 goals in those last 8 games.
Buffalo is coming in 7-1 in their last 8 games, with nice showing against the Rams as their only loss of the stretch, and giving up only 17 goals in those last 8 games.
Who’s your pick ?

Buffalo is a very tough place to play and I think everyone knows that. But I think the rogers boys have turned the corner after christmas and they are on a serious mission. This game will be very intense on both sides. But I am going to go with history and say this one will go to OT and it will be decided in 8 minutes of hockey. It will end with rogers scoring in OT and winning 4-3.
so those aren't smoke signals I am seeing in the northern sky??Neutron 14 wrote:Do you guys mind if I hang out in this thread awhile? yeah but it's still DSL at best, they are miles from the nearest hub, and they type about 3 words a minute. It must have just been surge from this weekend that got built-up and dumped all at once

Jensen is good but Buffalo has a few forwards that will keep him busy on the defensive side of the ice...hopefully. My prediction is that if Josh Provo doesn't score the Bison will win...Provo has 4 goals in the last 3 games these teams have faced off..flatontheice wrote:Jensen will dominate. 4-1 Rogers.grfahn wrote:Rogers will win it...better team, better coach.slappy19 wrote:i would like to see rogers take this one...
