Sartell-St Stephen (10-5) @ Little Falls (14-0) 1-27-09

The first meeting was a one goal win for Little Falls. Sartell-St Stephen had a few tough losses, but will be riding an 8 game win streak into this game.

Sartell has two hotheads on the team that need to stay out of the box if they want to compete with LF. IF LF can get in those two's head, it'll be a blowout, if not, its just another nice win for the Flyers.

The Flyers are on a 41 game unbeaten streak at the Exchange Arena! I think they take this one easily!

I think this game will be a different story then last time. Firstly LF has just been to tough to beat at home, I realize every team has a slip up here and there but I don't think it will be tomorrow night. Secondly it seems LF has found a way to stay out of the box lately, if thats the case it's going to be tough for anyone to beat them.

If the Flyers are going to lose its going to be this game. They could possibly lose against St. Cloud Tech but I see Sartell pulling this one out in a high scoring affair.

Sabres-5
LF-3

The Sabres have been playing well as of late, and a loss for the boys in purple wouldn't be the worst thing right now.

I dont see little falls losing this one.

Im going to pick LF in a close one 3-2 with Hanowski getting points on all three goals. If little falls comes out flat in the first period it might go the other way but i dont see that happening well see tomorrow night

I'm loving the comment on the Flyers' win streak at home. If anyone is expecting an upset, tonight is not the night. Anytime they play at home, as long as there are fans in the stands, they will win. Flyers win at home and extend the streak.

Why don't the Sabres just triple team Hanowski. He's the only one that scores. I guess beating up on lowly teams such and getting 3 goals is a huge accomplishment.

Flyers 6-1 3 goals scored in 1:02 in the 3 period, Moll, Gosiak and Hirsch scoring. The game seems to be getting a little chippy. Sartell scores 6-2 the score 10:09 left in the game.

You must have misspelled Hanowski, I don't know how it is spelled but it sure isn't anything like : Moll, Gosiak, or Hirsch, .....get it right Hanowski is the ONLY player on the team, and definitely the ONLY one who scores, .....right gophers101??????? 8)

So Hano has 4 goals.....how many assists? Since Sartell has the shot advantage, clearly Hano isn't the only contributor. Sperl must be standing on his head again stopping 11 shots so far!!!

People beat up on LF for their schedule and some of it is deserved but they are a decent team and it doesn't just begin and end with Ben Hanowski. Looking forward to the Section tourney!!!!!

I thought Sartell looked pretty darn good through 2 periods. I thought they were very physical. They just don't have quite enough offensive punch. I thought they kept LF out of sync for 2 periods with Hano keeping LF in the lead. They had a very effective forecheck and made it difficult for LF to get it into their end efficiently. They also finished their checks well. LF clearly won the third. I think Sartell could be tough in sections.
