I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of a northern rivalry game played outside. Maybe 2 teams from section 8 play followed by two cities teams in a rivalry game. I do like the idea of some younger kids playing too.

Here's the scoop... PR did lose 3-2 to Kittson... Lerhke had both goals. Another goal was waived off because the whistle blew when the puck was in the open otherwise we would have had OT. But there was issues.. PR played terrible the whole 2nd period. Our Bantam team could have beat them in the 2nd...

How bout #25 Ryan Johnson out of KC. Absolutely laid out Zach Lehrke. It was ridiculous. The kid is on the warpath, last week he took out EGF's top defenseman.

My take on the game is that ros. by far had the better skaters. ros. did take things for granted in the 3rd though and started to take some dumb penalties to let it get close.

Can PR run the table? I know there has been some discussion of this so I'll address it here. After looking at this schedule, I'd have to say that 25-0 is possible, but not likely. 25 straight is tough, even if the opponents are at or near that triple digit ranking. That site is no longer up. Tim Oshie is now taking care of it. I dont have the link on me but its something like www.section8ahockeyblog.com or something to that effect. I am sure you can find it by google searching section 8a hockey...

Does anybody know what happened to the section8ahockey.com site? That guy did a great job of keeping track. As far as scoring goes, I'm sure Lehrke is near the top and then some smaller school guys like usual. And you can't forget Ravndalen.

yeah when i played against thorson he was always good for 2 or 3 goals. he tries to play d but sometimes struggles with throwing the body around.

newsguy, didn't palmiscino graduate? im pretty sure he did. ive played against thorson and the kid is pretty good. its hard to tell with him playing for bagley.
