Re: Edina's weak defense?

Holy Angels is not very deep and goal tending is suspect..which makes for an average team..which is what they are.[/quote] Suspect??? 4 4 tie. A great game, AHA had the first period 4 to 1 and Trebil fell to his old ways and went with the short shifts playing 5D and 2 lines. Loosing the win to a tie...

Comcast still shows it as on today as does today's Strib but I have to go with RinkRat and assume it's not. Anyone know if the audio will be broadcast on the internet? It was also announced on the local TV morning shows that both games would be broadcast today on FSN. Could this whole thing be a bi...

A good idea of the lines, but not a real game. You will be able to see the teams play in a game atmosphere, but with nothing on the line. Thanks for the times. I will be able to slide over to STA at lunch. Zamman.... I just found out that AHA is playing STA at 3:00 not at 12:00 save the lunch trip ...

I recently watched the Stars, when they played Prior Lake. I was not impressed with what I saw. They have the first 2 lines, which are very solid, but then the following lines after are not up to speed with a quality Top 10-Top 15 team. The third line for AHA does fine against an easy Missota team,...

The only impressive stat is the Edina scoring totals due to the schedule they played. AHA played Prior Lake 2x's, Northfield 2x's and a couple of other dogs they beat by 10 goals. Unless teams played the same exact teams these mean nothing, when you compare team to team. FIND A COMMON OPPONENT AND ...

2AA scoring stats for the top seeds

Here are some interesting stats on the top 6 forwards and top 2 defense from each of the top 4 seeds in 2AA. I think it shows the depth of each team. I am sure that all the lines do not all match up, but they are close and these are the top scorers according to Hockey Hub. Jefferson: 1st line (point...

Re: What happens if...

What happens if a player goes in on a breakaway and the goalie pushes off the net and it goes off? The Albert Lea goalie last night kept pushing off the net when Mayo got close to a scoring chance and I was wondering what would happen if he did that on a breakaway. I have seen Tonkas goalie do the ...

How sad, in our sport we pay for the fields to be built. We follow that by renting the fields we built by the hour for inflated prices. Does this happen in football, basketball or lacrosse? On top of that, we have our kids and parents go out and do fund raisers. A couple hundred dollar athletic fee...

AHA 4 ER 3 Final I think it was 4 - 2 with an empty-netter. or I missed a goal. A very well played game. AHA came out flying and dominated the first period, but only up 2 - 0. In the second Elk River was hitting hard and kept the game close, by taking AHA off their game. In the third, it was more o...

Re: Mount St. Charles vs Shattuck game

Anyone know how the game went? I was there. SSM beat MSC 5 - 1. MSC looked tired and had trouble making passes. SSM also did not have much luck with their passing. They were fast, but seemed alsmost like they were drugged. They skated with reckless abandon. But their goals were nice. Refs were defi...
