Re: we've got guns like aaron ness.

you have to remember that "us" northerners could care less about hockey. this whole thing is a joke. it's people like the 'citiots' that froth and gnash their teeth at the thought of watching a girls 10U game, while being completely oblivious to what's happening to the united states in wo...

I have first hand knowledge on this subject. Marvin's most certainly do recruit. Wally Kosabucky told me Mike Marvin showed up on his door step to recruit his daughter to play with the Warroad girls team with Gigi. He wouldn't leave his well paying job in the I. Falls paper mill, so his wife was off...

Re: Sager is a fool !!!!

IMO, College Sports should have an age limit. 5 years from HS graduation should be long enough to still be playing College Sports. (Obviously with some exceptions) There is absolutely no need for a 25 year old guy to still be playing college hockey. NHL scouts will take a chance on a kid who's 19 a...

After seeing both teams play common opponents, I've got to say

Rams- 3 maybe 4, Indians- 2. They're both quality teams, but Roseau has that little extra something that keeps adding to the W column. If GR takes penalties it'll get out of hand, though.

How did Youso disappoint? He was very effective in the game, heck he had a breakaway like 20 seconds into it and drew a tripping call.
He made two notable plays the whole game. The play you referred to, and the goal. The kids got too much talent to make only two impressions in a game of this...

For two periods, this was a great game. I gotta be honest here, from what I saw the Falls got flat outcoached on their home ice. They hit the panic button when they were down 2-0 and started double shifting the top line and flat burned them out. Some of there line matching needed some explaining. O...

I think I. Falls should get more consideration. They've beaten everyone on their schedule with only 2 losses to very good teams. They play the game in a way that doesn't create a lot of fanfare from outside of the Falls, but it has been effective. They've been getting alot of support from the two l...

. GR3343 One final thing, no one has mentioned the disallowed goal by GR. The puck was clearly in play, not covered. Might have made a difference in the game. Not sour grapes, just a break that Falls caught. If you were there, and honest, there's no debating it was a quick whistle.
The DAG c...

Sounds like there were a bunch of Bronco goalies that bacame coaches and really contributed to the game of hockey in Minnesota. Constantine, Laurion, Couture (I believe I recognize that name from UND), and Bergstrom all coached. I wonder if that was in the spirit of Pops Ross?

By the way, I think someone on here said Langebrunner, he is from Cloquet, he didn't grow up in the Falls.
I believe he lived in the Falls until around '85. May have even been born there.

OK... I know from my readings here that there are alot of Broncos on this Forum. So I want to know if these Broncos can tell me about all the Who's Who in MN hockey that have connections to the Falls, i.e. Pat Michelletti spent his childhood there, Jaime Langenbrunner grew up in the Falls, Dave Speh...
