Final Thoughts for the year.......

Coming back to the JGA level has been a wild ride. The Metro Hcokey Leeague is a very organized, enthusiastic, and supportive group of individuals that believe in Junior Gold players. If it wasn't for this dedicated group, these kids would have nothing. It has been a privelage and an honor to be apa...

The numbers game

To clear a lot of things up I hope that will end some discusions and bad mouthing between young adults and giving the Jr. Gold level (my players, remember my rules) a bad name. I am not saying any of you are being disrespectful or name calling, its starting to get old. Since I am familiar with the t...

Man-up Lakeville. It looks like it is way past time to move to the Metro League. If not the A level, at least the B. Call off the dogs on those poor District 8 JGB teams. I hope I did the quote part correctly. I will answer this one. I do not know if you are a player or an adult, it doesn't matter ...

A few questions for Junior Gold B?????

Does anybody know if Faribault is going to have a team? If so, I will assume they will participate in District 8 league... RAVE - are there enough players to form a team? Prior Lake/St. Thomas - With PL inviting the St. Thomas team into their association, do PL players get to play on the team if the...

Rocco, To ansewer some of your questions: Are WB teams only made up of players cut from private school programs? No, there are also public educated players on the teams. Wb is for kids that live in District 1, unless the players have a waiver. - How does one get a try-out opportunity for one of the ...

Total, To make that statement this early is very bold statement when registration just started. Now, unless you know some information, replacing 10 seniors will be a tough issue in Lakeville. If you are from Lakeville, why would you come on this board and make a target for yourself and the team? Tha...

Technical issue

In The Minnesota Hockey Bylaws, it states the District Director needs to notify the Secretary of MH of the alternate. I would assume the D6 director, Mr. Hewitt ( great guy ) notified MH Hockey that his first alternate would be taking his place. But the third alternate? I doubt the D6 director had t...

The numbers game

If I did this correctrly, here is the approved budget for the year 2007 - 2008, approved on June 23, 2007...http://www.minnesotahockey.org/assorted/For%20Web.pdf In reviewing this budget, I have a few concerns: THERE IS A LOT OF RED! ACE Program loses $8,915.00 HEP Program loses $50,620.00 (However,...

Thank you

Players excellent job. For not being on the skates for two weeks and a few of you heading to Mexico for some sun, , and relaxation, the pace was great. I think the 17 minute periods where a little long but still, a great game. I hope each of you enjoyed the game and I wish you luck next...

the ref of lakevilles first game and the championship game, was a parent of a tartan jgb player
The refs where from District 3 not District 2 in the championship game. District 2 refs had the 3rd place game. District 8 refs had the consolation game.

Yes very true. But in my opinion i do not think there are really scouts at JGB level. I know many scouts myself and dont think they would ever attend a JGB game. That could be true but at the tournament this past weekend, I seen at least 2 that I knew that where looking at kids and taking notes. Wh...

Banquet

Thank you to the District 2 members for the banquet. The food was great, the T-shirt contest was - different, and the speaker was great in regards to learning lifes lessons off the ice. As players, you may not "yet" understand the full thoughts and ideas that was said last night, but in ti...

Rossbury, I think you should have listened a little more carefully to your boss. Never in any discussions was it described as an "illegal" player. Yes, I am the coach of the Lakeville team. You should have the facts before you call me or my team cheaters. Over 95% of the players and some c...
