Whatever the hell Lechner did. Exactly.........teach kids to cross check, tackle, slash, clutch and grab and only get caught 10% of the time is priceless. Forget finesse hockey, GOON hockey is king  I agree with you BIAFP! I am glad to see that I am not the only one that saw it that way. I gu...

Let me put it this way. Hill could not have an average defense and still expect to get to the state final just on pure offense. That's how big and developed this Edina first line is. They can have an average D and still be in the final. I missed the Edina games so can't give an opinion on Edina's s...

It's really hard to say. Edina isn't impressive in their own zone, and their goaltending is alright but nothing spectacular. Hill are better in those areas, but Edina has a sizeable advantage on offense obviously. It should be fun. If I'm correct, Hill has never beaten Edina in post-season. So if t...

They are getting the rubber to the net and thats a good sign. Hill keeps takeing these cheap shots to the back and giveing Roseau power plays might come back to hurt them. However wow has Hill impressed me tonight with how they started off. The end of the 1st Roseau did start to pick up speed and h...

Let's play devil's advocate  Roseau has proven themselves by wiping out a big metro team and is looking forward to the clash of the titans against Edina. and Hill throws the body all night instead of a period and a half and Hill keeps their hands to themselves to avoid lazy penalties. We go...

Why does everybody get down on the teams for the rules they have to play under? I read the Trib article on STA- it should have been on the editorial page. STA does not opt down, they play in the class they were assigned. Some schools choose to opt up; they don’t. From ‘75-‘87 tourneys there was exac...

Is 1 AA the worst?
Having too much time on my hands and not enough to do at work, I crunched some numbers to see where does 1 AA fall in relation to other sections since they are always in the dog house. I looked at it three ways- W/L Pct, Points for placing 1st=6pts, 2nd=4, 3rd=3, Cons=1, and the same way the Olympic...
