White Bear wins 3-1. Sealing the deal with a empty-netter late in the third.

If the Bears can pick up the slack on defense and stay outta the box, I wouldn't count them out of this one.

Today's game was a little on the sloppy side. White Bear had a couple nice goals though, one coming from Swanson and Loesch batting one out of mid-air. Pitlick performed well too, but the goal tending was a little shotty on Centennials part. The Bears penalty kill was a lot better than against Hill,...

Pumped to see the elusive Hill-Murray student section. Even more pumped for a solid hockey game. I agree with the those who say the Bears are a young team and will prosper come tournament time, but I still expect a close game tonight and a ridiculous White Bear student section as always. Bears - 3 P...

WBL hands down...I can remember in the 04-05 season they came to Grand Forks to play Red River and they had around 30 kids there not counting there JV team...thats like a 4 and half hour drive for a regular season game against an ND team, I can't imagine the atmosphere of a home game vs HM 30 kids?...

Eh, slopppiest goal I've ever seen. Big scramble around the goal mouth. Defense should have gotten that kid out from in front of the net, in my opinion.

Haha, sachishi, you're totally right. Hill has tons of fans at their games. Those games being one of the following: a WBL vs. Hill match-up, the section tournament, or your games at the X. Even when Hill played Edina for the title, the student section was incredibly small and quiet. You would think ...

Moorhead usually has an impressive section.... gotta love the blaze orange they had a terrible section when i went up last year for the HM game. maybe 15-20 kids at most. there may have been an equal number of pioneer fans there So what your saying is that the fans at Moorhead games are similar to ...

Who is this clown and how many one lettered accounts does he have? Which one of you White Bear guys unleashed him? Keep dreaming...... Last time they went up north they got beat by both! Perhaps, but the Bears obliterated FS last year at Aldrich, 6-1. Don't try and tell me that home ice will account for 5 goals. In a much closer contest, the Bears took down the Spuds last year in OT, 6-5. Fargo South beat WBL t...

The Bears will be able to relax on the way home knowing they left with two Ws. Fargo South won't be able to keep up with the fellas from the state of hockey and will fall 4-1. The Spuds might have a better shot at getting a few on a somewhat tired Bears squad, but still fall 4-2.

They are brothers. John Ankeny is a Junior and the starting goalie for Edina Varsity. His older brother Robby is a senior at Benilde and on the Varsity there. Both goalies. Should be interesting when the two teams play one another! Very interesting. Reminds me of last year when Ryan Wolter(white be...

I second, that's a solid picture. But as far as WBL goes, I'm expecting a great season. I think their competition will come mostly from Woodbury. Their returning seniors should do fairly well, and Owen should tear it up too. Definitely anticipating another Hill vs. White Bear section final. White Be...

Of course they will have talkability this year. People talk about how bad Hastings is every year, haha.
