My list is off the top of my head. (Also I listed Daggit as a F when she is definately a D-- my apologies to the unheralded defenders ). I can see where the confusion comes from. Watching Park I wasn't sure what position she played either. Park listed her and played her at D for the first 3-4...

But this really isn't about taxes and fair use and good or bad uses of public money: it's about whether old guys should get early evening ice time during the heart of the youth hockey season, or whether that ice should go to children. Wally's view is that old guys should get it. I think he is wrong...

Agreed on the officiating. And Daggit should be thanked for putting on a great event. I hope everyone takes care of the expenses too... I hear the 1st game today was 1-0 W for UWSP... They should have a nice team this year once again! UWSP played Pointer hockey, hard every shift and found a way to ...

I guess I just view this as another life lesson for my daughter, no matter what happens this will not seriously harm her personal development. She will continue to be the smart and strong person she is in mind, spirit and body. I wish more parents would be as level headed and in tune with reality a...

Re: Showcase

The deadline for rosters, as listed on the Showcase website, is 3/30/07. Just thought it would be done by now. Does anyone know if the MN team will follow the non-D1 commitment rule that the boys follow? That rule doesn't apply to the girls neither does the requirement of being Senior/Junior only. ...

Hockey Player needs help.

Here is a link to a DI player that is seeking support with a online petition.
The NCAA is denying her eligibility.

College Committments

Anne Dronen, Def MN Thoroughbreds signs NLI to Wisconsin. Anne from Chaska MN will make a good DI player, she is a gritty and smart player that doesn't make a lot of mistakes. Although she is only 5' 4" 140# she plays very physical and can handle the puck and become part of the offense. Congart...

She does not lose a year of eligibility, but all transfers within the WCHA
have to sit a year.

My issue is not with you ghshockeyfan. I am sure that hockeywild7 is a great guy, that's great and it's awesome that his daughter is playing college hockey. NDP tryouts

She does not skate in the summer and ONLY puts her skates on for try outs. Maybe she should if going to LP is a goal of her's. She also has received 6 letters from D1 schools for hockey. Changes needed/more work in preparing

Yes there are players that are superstars at a young age and continue to be and there are also those that other players catch up to, and there are those that are late bloomers. So that comment is ridiculous. So you are saying that because you are a stud at 8 you will be forever? Sounds like the Bla...

Shooting mat

For extra durability try a office floor protector (36" X 48" Chairmat)
made by Rubbermaid, office max has them for $19.95.

My kid uses it in the garage and I put it under the car when not
in use by him.

I was at the EV-AHA game and AHA played a poor game while EV had one of their better games. EV could be an excellent team in a couple of years. Re: Fighting Sioux

Is it true that Rivard is gone? The lastest odds out of Vegas have this being Rivard's last year at 100 to 1. She would have been gone this year, but they would have had to pay her and a new coach's salary. It's too bad those girls have to struggle thru another year. Next year they will get a...
