it's unfortunate this thread not only exists, but seems to have a fair amount of interest as well. The only stat that truly matters is the score. Hockey is a team sport. The players that credit their teammates are the true champions and are the players most likely to "succeed" and advance ...

you really have no right questioning why they made the decisions they made (leaving for jrs) your not in "their shoes."

Given the fact this list is just North American players, I doubt Rau will climb the ladder come draft time. His size and the fact he did not choose the Jr's route will most certainly factor in as well.

LaPrade attended Providence Academy. His father took a job in Vail, Co. during the past 6 months. I am guessing the son's move is motivated less by hockey and more by family.
