Running Time versus Moorhead is more than a little concerning, but they are playing much better now. Time will tell. Have the warriors play a team within 50 miles of the cities and then we'll see if they can contend. There record is a direct result of not playing ONE metro team. The few losses they ...

The fans there know that there is not much hope. They have been great when they were winning. One would have thought that it would have created more enthusiasm in LF. But, it really didn't even drive up their youth numbers at all. It is too bad that it has not stuck more with the people there. Litt...

Re: Little Falls In 09-10 Season.
Alex and Sartell will be the favorites next year. LF will be down, they will be young and inexperienced but after a year or two should be right back in the hunt for a section title. I will agree with that except for the Alex part. Do you think that Sartell has no challengers or that someone else be...

Now I get it. Recruiting is really only a problem if the privates all move to AA. Then good AA programs like East would have even a smaller chance of ever winning state. I have no problem with open enrollment and kids playing where they want to, just put them up with the big boys..... Very w...

.... and with their own class, well, a private would win the state tourney 10/10 years, .... Sure, and a public would win Class A 10/10 years. And a public would win Class AA 10/10 years. The only difference is, every team in each class would be forming teams via the same rules. What's not to understa...

I hope East would stay AA, we need quality AA schools up from up north to cheer for at the tourny! It stinks for the duluth area kids though, 20 less varisty hockey spots available. We would all like to see the #'s of mn kids playing varsity hockey increase, I hope with the way the economy is the Du...

Hanowski looked good, LF as a team did not....not enough shots, giving up too many shots...i am going with Breck in the upset, they have played good teams this year...virginia played as poor of a game as you can....so not impressed with LF yet, the semi's is where they will start earning respect wi...

PuckRanger - First off have a safe trip and enjoy the tournament. Also, thanks for enlightening us on the teams of the range, you do a great job. You bet I'm nervous, nervous and excited! Season's like this very seldom happen for any town let alone one from a non-traditional hockey area. (Were tr...

PuckRanger - Great points. I think I might be wrong on the point I made about LF's 1st and 2nd lines seeing just as much if not more ice time as their first meeting. I assume (and hope) that 18 - 20 penalites are not called in this game. LF's 3rd line does not PK and is seldom out on PP. Unless the ...

the small falls fliers are going to stuggle in this tourny. first of all they played a close game with fergus falls(9-16-1) in the semi finals although they won 5-2 at one point in the third it was 2-1. they also should have lost to alexc in the finals but got out of it with an overtime victory. li...

SCC Lourdes Breck 37.5% of class A is still private, so we are missing good old marshall and STA....thats still pretty impressive, but 62.5% of the teams being private schools would have really made a statement i guess....Cathedral doesn't recruit, they just offer a superior academic experience com...

PuckRanger Very good take on Virginia/LF game. I have not seen Virginia play, and it sounds as if they are a very tough out. But I am curious to know if you have seen Alex or SCC play this year, because you could describe both of those teams almost the same as you did Virginia (except for maybe the ...
