So this Chase Broten kid is part of THE Broten family right? He is on varsity as a freshman so I assume he is pretty good, but is he special like his dad (whichever one it is  ) My Gramps says Chase is too young to compare to his padre Neal. He also said Derian is no potential Dustin. Did you ...

Don't put Leddy in the same league with the likes of Broten. If Leddy comes out and has a decorated career in the NHL then I might consider him one of the greats.

Thanks so much for your help...you offer such great insight on this site. (2 posts) so where does that put Urick, Giles, Morenville (sp?), and the other 125 coaches in minnesota that didn't win the state tournament? They must all be a bunch of idiots. Thank you for pointing out that my number of po...

Put Ness's brain in Leddy's body and you would have an unbelieveable hockey player 8)

Re: Cretin vs. Moorhead

How do you guys think the two feel good stories of this years tourney will do when they faceoff tomorrow? If Walsh can preform like he did tonight tomorrow watch for cretin to sneak by I'm thinking a close one 2-1 CDH I don't think he was very impressive. The 2 goals he did let in were rather weak....

Rams 5 Spuds 4 I think that Moorhead is a very interesting team this year. They went to OT with Jefferson, tied Centennial, but did tie Tech. They are all over the place but I watched them play and they are not a team to be over looking. If they make it to St. Paul, they will cause problems for any ...

Playing down to the other teams horribleness creates bad habits.. I didnt see the game but in my opinion if they only beat the Irish 4-3 then I dont think they will fare well against quality opponents.

Mournville was probably running his top powerplay out there in the 3rd period. Moorhead has no class. Let your 4th line play when youre already in double digits.

AHA beating Edina would not surprise me at all, should be a very good game to watch. However, I do not think that Burnsville will be capable of an upset against Jefferson, not after last year. A Holy Angels-Jefferson game would be very good game and would draw a huge crowd. I'll that i know for sure...

Re: asa

so your saying the big 9 is better than the lake.......... :? It's about the same. Lake only has one great team in Eden Prairie and is only about 2 or 3 teams deep. Same with the big 9. Yes the Lake has a great team in Eden Prairie but what about Jefferson? It has 2 top 5 teams and how many ...
