oh boy
Hockeyfever, why don't you come on here and give praise to other teamates other than just to your sons or make excuses for your two boys. Hockey is a team game, nobody on here cares why your sons did this because they were sick, or did that because they were hurt. Go around the state and I bet almos...

uminn04
UMinn04 Ive been to century's practices as well. They only have 2 goalies so each is in the net the whole time. Nobody is sitting around on the boards. If you go to any team that has a 3rd string he stands around and takes shots when one of the other 2 is tired and needs a break no matter what level.

goldy
Good analysis goldy, I agree with the points that are made. It was good to see another Rochester team at state so kudo's to them. The off ice problems are what concern me. It happens all over the state I know, but when it happens more than once a season thats when you know the kids just dont get it....

samulson
First off, personally I think that Sellnow has more of an upside than Hanson. He is more in control and the more prototypical goalie, whereas Hanson has no style and plays like a Hasek type. Samulson I believe was caught doing something which he shouldnt have been. I believe it was his second offens...

Well congrats to Blaine, they did control much of the game. Century has not played as well as I've seen them play this year but no excuses. Congrats Blaine.

They are not blue, the shading for the breezers are way off and makes them look like stevie wonder picked out all the combos for the lids breezers and jerseys

Talking about Beau Hanowski
"He was a big part of the brothers that were Hanowski's last year."
Really? Ya think so?

anotherhockeyparent
What anotherhockeyparent says is not true by any means. Fruitiger rotated goalies when Westbrock was there. Ewing rotated with Borgmann until state cause he played better at the end. If this Kautz kid is good he will get his opportunity to play. Maybe not right away cause Sellnow has played well. Ev...

I think he's a good player, and you have to understand he's only a soph. He'll improve but he needs to get stronger, much like ness of last year.

Yes i was really suprised to see a 7-1 score in a section title game. I know the Bengals are a good team, ive heard about them all year and winning that section obviously speaks for itself.

tardy
thats a fair argument, however i just feel that blaine had trouble with osseo and their style of play which is similar to the way century plays. Coach Frutiger likes to roll 3 lines all game. Come tourny time you never know what will happen. I just dont see a blowout like you predict.

funny how tardyformrhockey says that when his Hounds lost to this century team earlier this year. Am i saying century is better. No. but i do think they can beat the bengals if they play like they have been lately and grind it out

blaine is a bunch of scrubs and cotton has downs.
having said that i think century will keep it close, depending on how sellnow plays... could even pull off the upset

gopherhockey21 has been dogging century ever since his beloved spartans bowed out in sections. I went to one game this year and they were alright... not as good as back in the day but good none the less. However that was a meaningless game and unlike the section final. The little bro told me they we...

century
I think Century has a good chance to make some noise at state. However they have to get by on friday to a team that has always given the Panthers fits. I believe that Century will go as far as Sellnow takes them. They have some talented forwards and Frutiger likes to roll his lines. He does have a l...
