I'll stick with the assertion that playing one of those Northern teams is like getting a Bye. Lakeville and Edina probably didn't break a sweat. so if roseau and thief river falls did not belong there then i am guessing highland and cottage groove both did not belong also. Since they had to play in...

Cobber wrote:U10father I suppose you think Lakeville should be in the 14u state tournament also. I see they were eliminated by a very strong team from Owatonna.
is that the same owatonna team that roseau had their way with yesterday?

:?: why do the teams that are suppose to win never win? :?: Time after time I see this. The Number 1 seed never wins in the tourny, It dont matter if it is Roseau, Blaine, Woodbury, Mpls Park, Edina, Owatonna, Wayzata, or East Grand forks. It dont matter if it is boys or girls hockey. It happens at ...

webcam

in todays world, how long will it be before you start using web cam along with the broadcast? It would sure be nice to be able to watch and listen even if it is in a lower resulution.
Thanks for broad casting the youth games. Many parents and grand parents can not attend and this is very helpful.

 The Stick salute during player anouncements at the begining of games. It has evolved into a choreographed routine. not a real issue. The hand shake with the officials by all 30 players and 6 coaches at the the end of the game. It is a thank you for the service they have done, without th...

I feel kinda sorry that the Sunday games are in the Little Raph. The Huck has much better ICE. Games in the Raph seem slow to watch. and Definently slow to play on.

Ness hasn't been whoopin anything or anybody since he left the Northwoods competition heck he has 1 assist in his last 9 games. [-X In all fairness to Ness, the gopher have been sucking it up in the last 10 or so games. So are you saying the only good player for the gophers is Ness and he is having...

Obviously they had one good game out of four or I guess on the flip side, Alex maybe had a bad game ......... your choice. The TRUE B team jabs are really getting old. Just be happy Roseau has enough kids to support an A and B team. Some small towns aren't quite so lucky and isn't it refreshing tha...

very interesting, I have seem some girls that could play just fine with the boys, I have also seem some boy that could not keep up to the girls. The problems I have seen is sometimes girls will develope bad habits by playing boys hockey at the start then changing back to girls hockey later. girls ne...

Re: Satisfied?

Just wanting to see what everyone's thoughts were on the section tourneys. Is everyone satisfied with the realignments from two years ago?? Personally I like the way they had them laid out in 2007, and if they moved teams in the sections to make the state tourney more competitive, I don't believe t...

There were 6 undefeated teams in Regions. Chaska, Roseau, Owatonna, Wayzata, Minnetonka and Bemidji. The two teams that received the "wild card" were United (Roseville, Tartan, MV, NSP) and Centennial. The American region was exceptionally strong. Should be a great tournament in Buffalo. ...

They win 6-3 to send both Alec and P. Lakes home and get P. Rapids in the money game tommorrow. Wow! Proctor beat P. Lakes in ot ...

OK then. Great job to all the officials who are correctly interpreting the illegal hand-pass rule! :) That's better. By the way, are you sure they are calling it a hand pass or are they calling the player for closing their hand on the puck? No, they're signaling hand pass (arm at side, palm forward...

If all the above is true, and how would you know, based on the Minnesota Hockey site (which is ridiculously behind), then let's predict the winner. Anoka/Highland - two fairly even teams, Anoka has some trouble scoring, so edge to Highland Roseau/Lakeville - No offense or anything, but the two team...
